Same thing happened last year, Newton gave Carthage a big scare but at the end the numbers wore them out....Carthage kept getting their people resterd and Newton just didnt have the people to do that.....Newton will win district and continue on into the playoffs

congrats to the cat on a good game and win over Jasper. what I am about to ask and say by no means is an excuse cause it happened to both sides.....where in the heck did those refs come from....that was about the worst officiating I have ever seen....like I said on both side....question? can anyone explain to me the block punt situation...I couldnt figure out what happened thanks again great game cats

I also believe and I may get smacked for this the Coach Lauve teams were built up by Brooks and Walkoviak...and he just rode what was already there. teams are built in the lower grades.....and Brooks and Walkoviak know that. You reep what you build

I think coaching. When I played way back in the late 70's we had players. the Hadnots big bruising guys. we had the state record 440 sprint relay team playing. but we couldnt find our way out of a paper sack it seemed at times. I would have to contribute that to coaching. not fitting the offence to what you have available. If you got bruisers why pass...if you have sure handed recievers with 4.4 speed why run all the time. JMO
