  2. if Jasper can take the fumble play out of their playbook I will go with Jasper by 10. Jasper's defence will handle the BH offence.
  3. it wasnt the snaps that hurt Jasper it was the runners that couldnt hold on to the ball at the end of the run ???
  4. ok what a game, I can't figure out how a team that could run the ball, and push the defence back go for a long drive then fumble every time. the O looked great when they could hold on to the ball. McQueen was knocking people down when he ran. fumbles, fumbles , fumble, and of course two interceptions. QB was passing quite well until he tried to go for the long one. He would launch the ball and it looked like a punt. It had so much hang time it gave everybody in the stadium time to get under it. The short passing game looked good. The D looked great. Stopping the inside run and containing the outside for most parts. Lingingston's O was shut down when it counted by the D. It is just to easy to pick up a ball and run it into the end zone when Jasper fumbled. Chaulk this one up to first game jitters and nerves. Regroup, get some stick-um and shake it off. Dogs will be alright when it counts

  9. don't worry we will not tar and feather you until the scrimmage is over ;D
  10. I have lots of pics from this game will post tomorrow
  11. I was at the game and what I saw was two team just about evenly matched. Jasper had problems defending the pass early on in the scrimmage. Neaderlands Qb and receiver # 9 cant recall his name made some great connections with passes. Jasper had a real problem with their punt return team 4 punts 3 fumbles. can't be doing that when it counts. Neaderlands defence did well in shutting the inside run down, But as Jasper was somewhat weak in the pass defence. It showed when in the 3rd quarter Jasper was airing it out for some good yardage. Neaderland had a great punter, putting the ball high, high in the air. Saw one field goal by Neaderland from about 30-36 yards not quit sure. Jasper attempted the old hit the lineman on the head and hope it goes thru the posts play ??? I think both teams learned quite a bit from this scrimmage. Lots of yellow flags on the field. My Opinion is both these teams will be looking for a playoff birth this year. JMO

  17. [Hidden Content] a little something for the Jasper fans. notice the second play in the film....looks like a nice pass....and TD....film is fuzzy but heck its football
  18. Jasper used a version of that couple of times year before last. the QB acted as if he couldnt understand what the coach was saying and walked to the sidelines ball was pitched and off he went
  19. I wonder if I could get away with using cuss words while broadcasting this year ??? ???
  20. OLD being the key word here. Hey back in the day Jasper had some strick rules...no long hair, meaning no hair showing out of the bottom of the helment, no facial hair. girls couldnt wear pants with back pocketsm and I don't remember to much cussing going around. I dont swear around my children. I would hope that the coaches would take the same attitude about it. some do some dont. doesnt matter if its the 60's or not. but hey it the parents let the kids cuss at them or around them I guess its ok for the coach to do the same thing. thats why there is very little respect now a days for any adult JMO
