Why's Lum-white in there?  The only truly tough team on their schedule for the year was WOS.

IMO [/quote] After playing Lumberton Red and Nederland White, I don't think they can beat WOS.  They have some fast kids, but they're not WOS fast.  WOS juniors really play as a unified team, too.  Of course, anything can happen in sports.

Actually, last year when Friendswood beat Central (football), there were quite a few comments on at least one thread where people were saying that one of the "rich daddies" must have bought off the officials.  So, I don't think it's Friendswood claiming to be "rich" on this site at all. And having graduated from Friendswood in '86, I'm going to have to tell you that most of my classmates probably looked down on Clear Lake, too, lol.  I've never understood why kids get the big heads about having money...they haven't earned it, their parents did :). I'm just happy my hometown and my current town's teams are both going to Regionals!!

I saw a sign this morning in Orange announcing Coach Hooks' camp for 2010.  Unfortunately, I was driving too fast to be able to read the particulars  ;D.  Does anyone have any info on it? 

I'm not a fan of the cans, either. I try to keep from completely disturbing the people around me, lol. Fortunately, we sit in our own chairs whenever possible at football games. If we sit in the bleachers, I have to keep my three year old from going up and down the stairs a zillion times :-X.

Hey, I'm right there with you! I cheer for all the kids on my son's teams...loudly. I figure I'm taking up the slack for the parents who don't make any noise at all!! The whole family is the same way. As my mother-in-law says, if you don't like it, don't sit by us!!

Does anyone know how the STJFL assigns the divisions? I keep meaning to ask my son's coach or another board member, but I keep forgetting.
