PNG White jr 36 LC 7 , the lc team game out and never gave up they just had 13-14 kids max and hardly any people watching, we played our 2nd team "D" and "O" from about the 2nd quarter on, we got a bye coming up next week with no Orangefield team to play, so time to rest up and practice some new plays for the Vidor game.

This all should change in a short time all you gotta do is attend a STJFL game to see the talent that is gonna be infused into PNMS and GMS, I know we have a whole lot of former Indian players coaching so they should be ready for the system and they are used to winning

You can teach them the game without running up the score and embarassing the other team, now if it cannot be helped. And its not punishing the starters its just giving the other team a chnce to make a game out of it, STJFL we have a 28 point rule, my sons team had to do it this weekend in their 40-14 win

No, we went at half and made adjustments and took it to em, kept their "D" on the field alot and wore them out, i personally didnt want them to score another time the coaches made a promise to the kids that if they beat them by 30 or more points they would shave their heads and my son wanted me to join in so i agreed, the kids really wanted us to shave our heads. BTW David is a really great coach, hes able to adjust and put our kids in the position to win, and our "D" stepped it up a notch in the second half

Well, im looking at the JV team i think they are undefeated this year. As i said i will be at all the remaining games win or lose till the last second ticks off the clock, they have made it where it virtually impossible to go down on the field after the game, my daughter is upset her homeroom mentor is #69 and she wants to go say "HI" to him and the Indian spirit

PNG jr white rolls Ned gold 14 PNG 40, played us a great game, nobody scored until seconds left in the first half, made ajustments at half came out and played great, the best was a ball that waas picked up on the kickoff about Neds 30 yard line and he ran it all the way for a TD as the buzzer rang not gonna give our kids name as were not supposed to do that here right?

better question is why would the type of coach needed come to lcm with all the problems with parents school boars etc...esp if hes not gonna get back up from the higher ups esp when it comes to dealing with families

was curious if the Coach LeJune is David LeJune? one and the same, great coach, took over after Hammersmith stopped coaching, known his son since i coached him in soccer, and have been on his team ever since thanks I had coached with him back in the 90's at Kelly high school...he is a great dude That he is and he can get those kids to do anything and he never has to yell, the only time ive seen him close to yelling was at the refs this past sat fo a missed call on the opening kickoff that im not gonna go into here

Heck i dont even think Deron got to play i was waiting to hear his name all night, your right the middle was open all night. what ever we do weve got to cut out all the penalties its drive killers most of the time :-[

LC-M had a "Vince Young" type of quaterback in Omey...highly mobile, and the wishbone threat was multi pronged because of this...if there was another QB out there like him, LC-M would be a legitimate threat for playoffs in 20-4A. The thing is, I truly beleive that LC-M has the building blocks for success...but like Coach Williams said, it starts with the youth programs. I don't think those youth programs stopped putting out quality kids, I just think the talent pool was squandered. The comptetitive Frosh and JV programs, post baseball departures, give testament to the fact that the talent was there... Getting back to the youth programs, I was privledged to coach the little dudes in flag football in the Orange County Pop Warner organization. I can legitimately say I got to coach Jacoby Franks, Trey Franks, Seth Thomas, and Earl Thomas, among others. Did I get to teach them all the moves that made them stars? LOL...Oh, HECK NO!...That is natural talent, along with a high school coach who rrrreeeeaaallllyyy knows his stuff. But along with that were parents who regarded hard work as important and not the designation of their kids as "stars". I think as a coach, you have to look at the team as a whole, and not see individuals, but one unit, with one heart...even if it's only "student body left" or "student body right". Hopefully, the next coach will find the heart of the bear, strengthen it and motivate it...Coach Moody has lost his chance for that... [/quo it does start with the youth programs and i can tell yall even in the youth program nobody percieves LCM as a threat, were building on the hope that 1 day we will get a coach that will run a balanced team instead of run,run,pass,punt, weve got alot of talented kids esp in the QB recivers position along with RB,TB,TE position and our HS varsity players come out and encourage the kids even come to the Jr MCM game along with some of the band and the Indian spirit and sometimes to the playoffs, i just dont see this happening in Bear country and this is coming from a former bear played in the Willliams era

Sounds like yall need to get someone as far away from that as possible get some new blood and then have a board willing to back him up when he start P.O. ing mommies and daddies

If this kids that are playing now continue playing together until HS they will be excellent, already they dont have to talk to one another just look at each other and know what the othe ris gonna do. as one poster said light years ahead as far as ball disipline and skills, yes being big helps but its not everything

Never said that yall were out, but some of yall counted us out before we even played and this was in reply to them, and i know its been a battle cuz my sons been with David since flag except 1 season. WOS is a tuff little team *(hard to believe some of those kids are 10) and will be hard to beat, but now were looking past and to yalls blue team. saw 2 kids with casts on their arm whats up?

Well ill chime in on this i have volunteered and did coach a couple of seasons but was not "friends" ie didnt play ball with them in HS and so my boy is doing line work on def and off and is holding his own with kids twice his size, ill be the first too admit he cannot catch but is small and fast( ive watched him with the neigborhood kids this summer and they barely touch him and he never lost the ball and the kid can throw and good tight spiral at least 15 yards) but ive told him to stick with it and maybe hell get his chance, hes been playing "D" cuz thats his pref but wouldnt mind getting a chance at "O" in some of these blowouts weve had

at PNG really physical game,only point we scored was backing them up so far that we scored a safety
