PeeWee tackle is just a way to get them used to the equipment and tackling its a good in between from flag to tackle, used to jump straight from flag into Jr tackle and alot of kids were not used to being hit and the heat that comes with the equipment, anyways i love it and most important is my son does too

You were not involved with the league last year, my sons peewee team left players laying on the ground having to be helped off almost every game they played and thats PW and the Jr tackle team had a kid that had to be flown out to UTMB, so yeah the game is played at full speed, our RBs, TBs and FBs knew the weight requirement and made sure and met it by the time the weight in came also you have 3 turns to meet the weight requirements

They are trying to keep kids from getting hurt, would you like youre 95lbs kid across from a 195lbs kid, you cant chop block everytime.

You know it my boy has been playing ever since he could hold a ball, and all our kids know the Injun fight song and school song before they ever get into K, our kids have been playing football together now for so long they dont have to talk to one another its all non-verbal (they know what their job is and what the kid next to them is thinking) the HS boys come to our practice when they can and during our run in the STJFL playoffs this season and during the Jr MC madness game they came and some of the band did also, the HS gave us the old runthru (TeePee) for our home games, my boy is 10 now and already hitting weights not hard and heavy (dont want him to get hurt) but to say we are fanatical in MC is a fair assessment, but look at our stand if we are winning or losing. Soul you really do love your team, ill be supporting them also one of the ladies i work with at the hospital grandson plays this year, except when yall are playing us. [move]GO INDIANS [/move]

Anybody got anyone who does football instruction?, my son moves up to Jr tackle in STJFL and has always played Defense (H**l yeah) but now decides this year he would like to try running with the ball and see how the other side feels,any info would be appreciated BTW hes 9 fixing to be 10

Well, this is not the case at WOS my sister is the boys coach and she knows alot about the game, having played semi pro in Dallas, and having played soccer almost her entire life, real soccer we as kids played in Brazil, Aruba etc.. it is having no support system from the school on up. She herself is trying to figure out a way to finance her team going to the British soccer camp that we have here at GCYSC every summer and getting the club pro to work with her team, so you obviously dont know who or what you are talking about

Just goes to show you they dont know PNG, weve been hoping for it to be wet as the "bulldozer" Hemmings isnt fast but hes steadt and powerful and has to be gang tackled, just ask anyone weve played, our other RBs are fast, plus weve had playoff exp before and state also. They let the backups and the JV play tonight when we had the game well in hand

This was great alot of the backups and Jv got to play in the 4th, I think they should have brought in the backup QB but i guess they wanted Tatum to get some more reps. I really felt sorry for GP players maybe 150-200 fans on their side

PNG defense played their best game so far, im betting GP players are feeling it today alot of em left laying on the field. #5 for GP was a slippery little devil hard to bring down. The "D" came out like a team possessed in the 2nd half (dont know what the coach said to em during half but it worked), First time ive seen alot of these plays that the "O" ran, and Tatum can run, he broke a couple of long runs thanks to the line and out front blocking by Hemmings and i think Wright on one, The "D" playes like it did tonight we take LC BTW ive got an issue with Titan he called #6 Doty a "punk" and a "thug" i just found out last night that he is the homeroom mentor and tutor for my daughters K class, talke to him after last nights game and found him to be very respectful and knew my daughters name bent down and gave her a hug and talked to her for a few minutes.
