Yes there have been some dang good athletes thru Dayton. I saw someone talking about Briggs earlier and he was a very good athlete and very smart. If I remember correctly he was salutitorian. I remember Briggs being a good football player (never had a coach) and he was awesome on the basketball court. Attitude??? He was a little ummm cocky. He went to Tech and I think he ran into a little trouble up there. He tried out for a few NFL teams but never made it past the practice squad. Ivory Durio was a heck of a player and so was Rondale. But, the best QB that ever walked the halls of Dayton High School is Qinn Woods or Bobby Remmers.. lol.. JOKE!!! By far I think its Cody Green, and AJ is the best athlete. Im not living in the present but I have been around Bronco football since the early 80's..

lol... Photoshop??? Thats funny.. I know we will never make the Central fans think that he was down but, HE WAS DOWN!!! Either way the official had a hard call to make and I think he made the right call. Honestly I would have rather it went the other way but, then the Friendswood folks would be in the same position as the Central folks are now. Central,, I feel your heartache but yall should be proud of your great season and it would have been a waste of gas money to go to Kyle Field this week. (enough said)

All year long I have felt that nobody could beat Dayton in good weather. Tivy has a small D-line. Cody is a big boy to bring down. If they double AJ then Cody is gonna do what he did to Brenham. If they stack the middle then AJ is gonna do whatever he wants. Its gonna be a shootout but Dayton has alot more bullets. I was reading another site earlier and they are already saying that Everman is ready for Dayton. I just hope that "we" and "they" are not looking too far into the future. We gotta keep this one game at a time and take care of bizzzzznasssss.

I have been doing some homework on Tivy. I really, really dont want to seem over confident but I just dont see the bronco's punting on Saturday. Bronco's will score alot and Kerville will score a few. 77, You say you have never heard of Dayton? Check the record books last year and see who was playing in this same round. Its just going to be a different outcome this year.

I think this is going to be a higher scoring game than we think. I wouldnt be surprised to see both teams in the 40's. My prediction is Dayton 49 and Kville 35. I dont think this one will be over at half and Coach Stewart is going to have to keep the hammer down till the end of the game. On another note: I know AJ is a U of H commit. I have heard some rumors about Texas trying to get him now. Anyone know the news on that?

Wow.. That Gtown stadium looks pretty nice. Seats 11,000 and I hope to see alot of purple. I still dont like the location and I think Kyle field would have suited us better. They are already having one 4A game at Kyle Field on Sat. I think it would have been just as easy to have 2.. I would have made both for sure.

Georgetown?? I sure hope they have a new stadium. The one that I know of still has grass and isnt too big. Im sure that cant be the one. Well I was hoping to have a better location because Gtown isnt too far from Kville. This should be an awesome game. Go Broncos!!

Well, I actually cant remember if we won any games that 95 season but it was fun playing everyone in their homecoming game. The only thing I remember about that season is that the coaches would never throw me the ball. So, in the last game of the season I was running the plays in and I changed a run play to a pass to me! Seriously, Jerry Stewart is the man and Dayton Bronco football is on the map and will be there for years to come!!

I was just joking about all of the different names but I actually think it should be Bronco Stadium for a long time to come. If Coach Stewart stays in Dayton for about 12 more years then I think maybe his name should be considered. Hey Russ, Are you gonna make it to the game Saturday? Hope to see ya there and we can watch those Broncos kick the (you know what) out of Rosenburg. Go Bronco's and look forward to seeing a sea of purple on the visitor side!!

Come on Russel. I know you have a name for the stadium other than Bronco Stadium. Yes I know that your grandpa or your great uncle or someone in your family was on the team 67 years ago when that stadium was built. If someone was to put up some money to get the stadium named after them, who would you want it to be? Dont even say VanZandt stadium either!!! Although Im sure if it was up to B. Reeves it would be called Sherman stadium or Bob10 field.

If its gonna get a commercial like name then a business is gonna have to step up and put up some money. Like Woodforest Nat'l Bank Stadium in The Woodlands. Toups... That hit was beautiful. He was already out of bounds when he got pushed into you but you took it like a man. We are gonna have to get you some protection for next game. Maybe we can put you in some pads and a helmet or a big bubble and make you stay in it. Does anyone else have any better ideas to protect Toups??

I will be there next weekend for sure but the weekend after that I have to go to Las Vegas for the NFR. I am hoping that the stars line up and Dayton has to face Crosby again. Im not sure where they would play but I know both sides would be packed and there will be at least one fight in the parking lot and maybe a few on the field. You are soooo right. I guess if we would have run Bob 10 again on 3rd down we would have lost a few more yards, so it actually worked to our advantage to punt on 3rd down. And just for the record I never dropped a pass with those gloves. They were the neoprene hunting gloves from Walmart and they were awesome..
