The Sharks are playing Colmesneil's JV. The Bulldogs Varsity is going to Cayuga tonight to take on the Wildcats.

There is NO UIL rule that prohibits seniors from playing on JV. People don't do it, because we want our younger players who will be our future to get that valuable playing time.

No one becomes ineligible until 3:15 (or whenever your school lets out) on Friday. The kid would be eligible to play on Thursday. He would then be eligible after the three week period if his grades are all above a 70.

That would be Colmesneil JV....

High Island will win this game by as many points as they want. Chester is WAY down this year.

Didn't lose a single player to grades this six-weeks. Hope that trend continues.....

Deweyville 59 Burkeville 8 Abundant Life cancelled their season, so High Island was open this week.

Colmesneil JV plays at Sabine Pass next Saturday night for the Sharks home opener and homecoming. The Sharks looked pretty good tonight against Chester. I think they will be right in there battling with Evadale and High Island for the third playoff spot in District 24-A.

The latest report from Chester is that they have only 12 eligible for the game this week. If that's true, look for Sabine Pass to pick up that first win on Friday.

Is your big fullback going to be playing against Chester this week?? If he is, the Sharks could roll.
