EAST CHAMBERS VS KELLY HIGH PREDICTIONS

Kelly has the best pure passing quarterback in Southeast Texas in Dakota Eddins. They are going to put points on the board. EC is going to have to score at least 28 points if they want to win. -
Lol... I wonder if the poster is a point guard in 2a.....

Nick Schrapps is the only returning varsity player from last year. There are no new "recruits" this year. St. Thomas has always been a basketball school. They have more than three times the number of boys in the school compared to kelly, and they have the metroplex to recruit from. Kelly is clearly in a rebuilding year.

Vidor At Kelly Broadcast Thread/Vidor Wins/Comments
magic replied to a topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
sgtrey You are really a childish dude. First, you didn't get the margin even close to right. Eleven points off doesn't win you much money in Vegas. Second, what man gets on here with hah hah I told you so's. If you watched or listened to the game you would know that Eddins played well with 9/15 passing for 105 yards in the first half. Kelly basically had only two possesions in the second half because of the way that Vidor controlled the ball. That was completely expected. Vidor has way too much size for Kelly. Grow up!! -
Vidor vs. Kelly Week 0 Predictions?

I think the tone on this thread is way to personal. There's no college scouts on here. How about we try and mix some objectivity with the passion. -
Vidor vs. Kelly Week 0 Predictions?

spoonbill please read my post carefully. I spoke only of this years team and what the situation is now. Clearly the brown's and a few others in the past have had their tuition paid for. I Think sometimes good kids who choose to go to Kelly get shorted because of those perceptions. -
Vidor vs. Kelly Week 0 Predictions?

I am a kelly fan but I expect Vidor to win by 3 touchdowns. I hope i am wrong but that is my honest assesment. I do want to set the record straight on a few things. All of Kelly's key players this year came from feeder schools with one exception. That young man has been at kelly since he started high school. All of these kids are paying tuition. So, whatever success kelly may have this year, will not be the result of recruiting or paying for kids to go to school at kelly. -
Vidor vs. Kelly Week 0 Predictions?
magic replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Kelly will likely be starting primarily sophmores on the offensive and defensive lines. I think that vidor will win the game in the trenches. Kelly will have to be explosive on offense to have a chance. -
I'd have to remind everyone that Vidor had to come back in the fourth quarter to beat Kelly last year. You can decide what that means.

Is the tourney full? Why 3a tapps legacy and not kelly 5a? If it's open, I'll talk to knowles about it. -
My understanding of this story is that UConn assistant coaches were dealing with a "handler" of one or two players who they knew had a relationship with an agent. I'm sure there is more to it, and I would love to hear from others who have more information. However, this brings to light a very common but inappropriate practice going on these days. There are plenty of "handlers" out there who latch on to kids at a very young age. These people are financed by agents and shoe companies. The idea being they only have to hit on one or two stars to make the investment profitable. High School sports should be about the joy of competition and the lessons learned from the involvement. Most major college programs are having to deal with these people. I hope they shut it all down!!

Shannon Robinson is a really nice player, but at his size, he is just not good enough to play alot at the D1 level. I think Bernard is just a little bit more dynamic and if he could transition to a true point guard mentality, he might be able to play significant minutes at D1` level. I'm not from Silsbee or HJ so I have no loyalty to either.

I also like stallworth alot. He's very athletic and I think he can transition more to the perimeter.
