I'm starting to see what Roc is doing. At first I thought Roc was not as good of a coach as hyped. I also thought his recruiting class was strange. Not so any more. I kept comparing last years team and style to this year. However everything is totally different. Is it me, or do anyone else notice LU is playing more and more Billy-ball each game. Now those recruits make sense. LU will play Tech a lot tougher than I first thought.

Lamar has until April to hire a coach and recruit for a fall 09 season. Lamar also needs to hire a soccer coach. And what about swimming? 08 will be a busy year at Lamar.

Like Lamar, Tech has improved a lot.

If the game was in Beaumont, I would predict LU wins by 7. Since it is in Lubbock, then Tech by 15.

Why is Houston a mid-major and Memphis not? Both are in the same conference. Gonzaga?

Lamar ranked #316 last in SLC yesterday, today Lamar #286 and move up past Texas st and Northwestern st. Can the climb continue.

Win or lose, we are 0 and 0 when conference start. Plus Bobby Knight comes to Beaumont next year. Lamar is improving. When the season started I thought they were a last place slc team. Today I think they improved to a slightly above middle of the slc pack team.

If these rankings are accurate, conference will be tough.

Its all about conference name. The Sunbelt is a I-A, Southland is I-AA. I know there is no I-AA in basebase however that mentality carries overin all sports.

LU needs to be Rice by a huge margin. BTW, LU sos is #35.

It'll just fail again. UTSA, Texas st, maybe SHSU is leaving. Replacement teams would be Delta st and Tarleton st. NOBODY wants to see Lamar vs Tarleton st. NOBODY wants to see Lamar vs Delta st. And if we lose to those teams, NOBODY will want to see Lamar. Oh dang ouch, second gasket blew. Someone warn NASA to change Voyager 2 course. There has to be something more to it.

According to KFDM live, 1 construction job spinoff 5-7 other jobs. So 15,000 * 5 = 75,000. We could easily see a population increase by 35,000 over the next 5 years. 440,000 MSA population would be very good for LU.

Exactly, I have nothing against these teams except they won't get the crowds out at Cardinal stadium. UTSA is gone...done deal Texas st is nearly gone... SHSU is talking about a Sunbelt move. Lamar??? Tubbs talked about moving up 4 years ago... McNeese, NW st, and SFA...What will they do?

I predict 122,000... This growth will affect Lamar. I still predict an increase of 3000-5000 at Lamar by 2012.. Remember, Lamar stop growing at the sametime Beaumont stop growing.
