We dropped a FCS, South Dakota, for a NAIA.

The point was Woodard planning to add a NAIA or at FCS for 2012. That suggest no FBS.

Woodard and Tidwell claim no contact with the WAC. Maybe they are talking to a NAIA conference. GAWD, No way would the WAC allow a member to play a NAIA or at a FCS. Is this Lamar saying no FBS?

The Bears previously scheduled a home-and-home with ULM for 2012 and 2013, but the two schools have swapped host dates. Baylor will now travel to ULM on September 22, 2012 and host the Warhawks on August 31, 2013. [Hidden Content]

Errr cough cough Duke. Can Knight get Duke to Beaumont. It is not like Duke is at risk for a loss, especially  his first year. Duke in Beaumont would help recruiting.

Coach Knight said he called up coach K, why not bring Duke to Beaumont. Fill the Montagne that night. Why can't Coach K help a friend. This game would be as big as when NC Villanova came to town,.

[/quote]Experience man. That was 20 years ago. The man has grown up and gained a boat load of experience. That's priceless. No one LU is interviewing come close to that much DIVERSE experience; NBA, WNBA, NBA-DL, many colleges. No one in the SLC or WAC, well maybe USU, will be able to match that.

Nobody wants to give him a second chance. I am sick of a former great basketball program as Lamar in chronic losing, especially in the SLC. I would give him that second chance. Someone asked my opinion. Can't you read? As far as your post, there are people who can spot talent and there are people who follow the crowd with their opinion. I do not care what you think. I do not care what a blog thinks. I know what I know. Abatemarco is not paying me. I don't know the guy personally. IMO he can bring winning back to Lamar the first year. People do make mistakes in the past, can you say you haven't? Abatemarco is my pick, take it or leave it.

For what it is worth, he did win at LU. Something no other coach could do the last 22 years. Keep in mind this is my opinion. Lamar is not hiring Abatemarco. I would. LU would not have gone 22 years if I ran LU. Lamar need a coach who can coach and experience helps a whole lot. Lamar does not need to hire a name. Before you all start insulting my choice, lets look at facts. 1. This forum calls Abatemarco a loser, yet makes excuses for Knight's losing. 2. This forum holds a grudge because he insulted Beaumont Italian restaurants, yet make excuses for Evans big mouth and insulting Lamar. The hypocrisy is as big as a blimp.
