1. Tidwell needs to put down the ROC file and forget about the WAC and everything else to get these ladies back on track. We lost 2 of 3, lets not end the season losing 3 of 4.
 2. Mcneese is beating UCA for a 3rd time?
 3.
This must be the reason why Roc was clearing out his office, to make room for the return of Giovanine!!  :D :D
Nooooooo, Abatemarco is coming back with Tony Branch as his assistant.
 4. We don't know if Terry is a good X and O guy. He might be another Roc.
 5.
UNLV, I look forward to most of your post. However, you sound a little Narcissistic with your last comments. Should Lamar have won the game today. Yes, we have better coaching and two first team All-SLC players with one being last season's POY. Then we have the Newcomer of the Year and a third team All-SLC player. However, for some reason we didn't play well today offensively. We shot 37% from the field, were 3-19 from 3 pt range and only took 6 FT's the whole game. The team was won 25 games this year and there is still a chance Lamar plays in a post season tournament. I guess bad coaching got the team to this point?
We haven't play well for weeks. The LU team in January would have destroyed UCA today. IMO, I think Tidwell was distracted with WAC plans and the possibility of firing his friend Roc. As much as I love Tidwell as LU coach, he can't be both coach and AD. Today proved that.
 6. I don't care what you all think. None of you comes close to my IQ. This is the SLC. Lamar should have won today by double digits. LU is the champions with their best 2 players returnig. No one in the weak sorry SLC should have beaten Lamar. Tidwell is out as coach. PS. I don't expect you to admit you were wrong when it happens. Just do as usual, attack me to save face.
 7. This team has been playing awful for the past few weeks. I put the blame on Tidwell. It is becoming clear he can't do both jobs. Time to find a new WBB coach. I'm not sold on Wells. He should have stepped up when Tidwell started slipping.
 8. Think about it, what would be the point in being a FBS with all these non-football schools.
 9. Yeah right. If Sam got the invite, all the katfan yard birds will be celebrating to no end. The only reason you oppose a Sam invite is because Sam is not moving up.

 11. Hmmmmmmmm, would Tommy make a good Lamar MBB coach?
 12. 13. We need to join the WAC before hiring a new MBB coach and maybe a new WBB coach.
 14. Not funny but sad. Roc is a good guy who cares for Lamar. I wished he could have done it, but he didn't.
 15.
The idea of Abatemarco is a total joke.  Also, you guys can go ahead and forget about LU paying someone $200k.  Not happening.  They will have to pay roc next year so that would be 300k plus for head coaching salaries for next year.  NOT HAPPENING!!!!!!  Rodney Terry or Alvin Brooks will be our next head coach.  Mark it down.
Yeah, so typical of the thinking. Brooks proven to have no coaching skills and Terry, like Roc, without Head coaching job. Another 10 years of losing.

The only thing he ever accomplished in basketball was being lucky enough to be on a bench as Jim Valvano's assistant when Thurl Bailey threw down a rebound on a Derek Whittenberg airball in the last seconds of a national championship game in 1983.  If he is the best that Lamar U. could come up with as far as a basketball coach to replace a hopefully soon to be gone Roc (who interestingly enough reminds me a lot of Abadremarco), then Lamar basketball needs to go by way of Lamar football in the 1990's and shut it down!
I am not saying LU will consider bringing him back, but I need to defend the truth. Abatermarco was an idiot who spoke without thinking. However I think he was the best X and O guy in Lamar history. Including Tubbs and Pat Foster. Had his mouth not gotten him fired, He would have taking Caldwell and Jackson to a top 25 and Lamar basketball would have never fallen off the cliff. Nobody can not tell me in all honesty that the team Tony Branch screwed up was not top 25 had Abatemarco been coach. Abatemarco has since apologized and said he grew up. He also said If Lamar asked, he would come. The man knows basketball.
the fact his name is even mentioned on this board is ridiculous..
The fact Lamar basketball has been down for 25 years is ridiculous and sad. Thinking within the box has failed us.

Yes he is annoying, but he is a great X and O guy who can turn the program into a winner, not in 5 years but in the first year. Tom Penders would be my second choice sense many of LU players were his recruits.
UNLV I respect you but no and no. They need to offer at leat $200K for this position and get a proven winner that isn't over 60. I would be worth it because Lamar has proved in the past that if they win people will fill the Montagne Center and they could average over 7K which would more than pay for the Head Coach and coaching staff.
What? you think I mentioned those guys because they are losers. I want to win now, not in 5 years. Abatemarco could get us winning again next year.

 20. Our season is over with no post season play, again. Roc you just don't have it.
