I was looking at Conference USA numbers. Lamar is also bigger than UAB. And if Lamar was in CUSA, the Montagne would be 4th biggest. Less than 30 seats from being 3rd. And a 35k football stadium would fit nicely among CUSA.

They've had their best two recruiting classes in the history of their program the last two years. The had 21 true freshman start throughout this year. They are young and experienced and should come close to .500 this year, if not reach that mark. They'll be in a bowl game within the next two years. Football is different from Bball. It is much easier for a juco to play at a DI level in football versus Bball.
