Very slow sloppy start. Droughts with sloppyness. LU struggled against the press. Defense needs work. However not too bad for a new team. Monday UTPA will be a better test.

HONOLULU -- Hawaii center Douglas Kurtz must sit out the Rainbow Warriors' first six games because he played three games in a professional league in his native Brazil in 2007. Coach Bob Nash said on Wednesday that he decided against appealing the NCAA ruling so that Kurtz and the rest of the team won't have to deal with the uncertainty of his status. The 7-footer transferred to Hawaii from Marshalltown Community College in Iowa. Hawaii opens its season Friday at its own Rainbow Classic against Southern Utah. Kurtz will be eligible to play for the Warriors against Lamar on Dec. 6. [Hidden Content] The return will cause some confusion giving Lamar an advantage. I say LU wins this game.

What counts is after winning the SLC. HUH WHAT, SHSU is 0-1 in the NCAA tourney. Very impressive to nobody. 2100 is about the number of fans at a 2A high school game.

Very Good. The problem is they are not deep. But with starters like Williams, Hill, Plumley, Loyd, and Green, SLC is ours.

SHSU reached a regional final a few years back after an amazing comeback against Southern Miss (also eliminated Troy) and could very well have the most impressive team under Mark Johnson in 2010. This team is used to playing a tough schedule and I do not think you will find players blaming losses on others when they lose. They take it hard as a team. Why is it taking Terror so long to explain why SHSU had fewer fans at a future FBS ROFLMAO school than LU has at it's basketball games.
