Nobody here cares what SHSU President thinks. If SHSU wants to join us in FBS, fine. But I am having my doubts about SHSU. Show some proof or at least some hints. LU is wasting its time and money if it plays more than 2 years FCS....

Too avoid paying millions in exit fee, teams must give a conference 2 year notice. That makes 2009 the earliest a school will announce.

Will the SLC move up to FBS or will LU, Texas st, and UTSA need to find new homes. I doubt more than half of the SLC can or want to move up. And LU will need a swimming conference or become part of a swimming conference as a swimming member only conference.

Perhaps you guys are reading too much into this...? Perhaps an attempt to save your men's tennis program while adding football? SHSU will have ALL of the programs listed and currently at Lamar sans men's tennis and women's swimming/diving. Seems swimming/diving is what will allow LU to retain men's tennis. No, Lamar only needed Softball, soccer, and Swimming for football. Bowling is not needed unless LU is planning a FBS.

I think they said $7 million towards the fieldhouse. So that leaves $18 million for the stadium, which is not enough to expand the stadium considering all other expenses. 1. New seats 2. re-enforce stadium structure 3. lights 4. turf 5. video board 6. suites and press box 7. practice field 8. parking 9. concession 10. restrooms For another $13 million, Lamar could bowl the stadium. 12,000 seats on the south endzone and 3,000 seats on the north endzone. LU is wasting a one time opportunity.

Every time there is a prediction thread, LU loses. Maybe try predicting LU will lose so we can win.

I didn't say we were playing well. But if you call for his head after 5 games is just dumb. Yeah he hasn't made the best decisions, but not all coaches get it right. Look at #4 Wake coming off a win over the #1 team in the nation and they lost to Georgia Tech, who was winless in the ACC, I wonder if their fans were calling for the coaches head after then. If that is the case, maybe we should have stayed with Tony Branch. I'm sure he would have figured it out by now.

We can't even win our home games. The more excuses you make for Roc, the more he will continue to think he can win by just showing up. He needs to be held accountable.
