Who is Busby? Bill Busby....don't make him angry..

Lamar doesn't need him to bed mr superstar. He just needs to play good defense and rebound.

Yes there is enough room to expand eventually. I'd say make it a bowl first, then maybe a second deck later if needed. Single deck bowl would get it to roughly 26K (6K on the Montagne side and 2K on the field house side if you keep the filed house visible). Also, that TSU plan would be a perfect venue for HS State Title Day! Central location and 40-45K seats. I'm thinking that you get 8k on the south side bowl and 2k on the north (Montagne) side which would get 27.5k. Add a 6.5k upper decks on each side and suites accross the south side lower deck and and you have a 40.5k stadium. That should be a big enough stadium to bring in UH/TCU/Baylor/K State/Iowa State/Ole Miss (maybe TAMU if they stay down) type programs. This would max out the location and is also dependant on how they locate the field house on the south side. IF we want a bigger venue, we would have to relocate the stadium. This would be perfect for Lamar. Anything less would not keep the locals interested.

I was going to go but my Dad and Grandpa have stuff going on and they're not into to letting a HS kid make a trip with some LU students... :-\ Do you not know how to throw a roll on the ground kicking screaming tantrum? Haha I'm young, but not that young. rolling on the ground kicking screaming tantrum is not age excluded. You will have to do it when you get married.

Hoopscooponline.com reports another Lamar commitment

This kid sees the writing on the wall. Lamar will dominate the slc conference over the next few years... -
Big time....Not ULL. They lost to a last year +300 ranked team at home. ULL is a low scoring team. Very 1 dimensional. If Lamar loses, it'll be because Lamar beat themselves. Lamar by 13...85-72

Bob West: Lamar’s Woodard schedules Aggies for 2012 season
UNLV replied to a topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
If you guys didn't, then you were being behind the eight ball... McNeese does road trips for EVERY conference game plus others within driving distance. Believe only one (NWST) got called off due to lack of interest and perhaps NWST was because of how close it was for people. They went to SHSU and even were very limited on spaces for UCA. Lots of schools do that. SHSU had a few buses for the UH game in 2005 and have done buses for SFA and TXST in the past. UH and Rice may not be willing to schedule you guys. UH has quit on the SLC and gone the "SWAC route" because the bands and more likely chance for a win. Rice is done with FCS schools it looks like after the Nicholls victory two seasons ago. Texas Tech loves scheduling FCS and even did two this year. Then if no one will play a FCS, then we have no choice but to go FBS... -

As long as your FCS -- look forward to games against the Texas State(-San Marcos), Idaho State, Tennessee State and Alabama State of the world compared to those schools... Even if you go FBS, those schools won't find their way into Beaumont. A likely "home" game in Houston would be possible, just as ULM about their "home game" in Little Rock, Ark against the Razorbacks... Alabama went to Monroe.
