What we know so far;artifical turf, new seats, stadium beautification, and maybe new VIP suites. So it'll look much different than before.

Not really. Equipment purchase is the big expense, but you do that every few years. Then the price drops to Soccer budget. Lamar would most likely join the WAC in Gymnastic because I doubt the Big 12 and SEC take Lamar. It would give LU better name recognition that would help in recruiting in other sports.

Rice and UH have swimming, but no Gymnastic. LU could represent all of SETX in college Gymnastics. Gymnastics will cost a lot more than bowling, however the exposure in Gymnastics would be priceless.

My guess is Softball, Swimming, and bowling I think LU is better off adding Softball, Swimming, and Gymnastic. We have local high school swimming and gymnastic that LU could feed off, plus the Houston area.

We'll see. 2011 is a few years off. Will the newness of it wear off quickly and Ws and Ls come into play? It's all new and exciting for these programs. Time will tell... Will the newness wears off by 2011? What is your prediction?

UCA and McN attendances were where they should be... SLU and Nicholls were lower than usual because they were going HEAD to HEAD against LSU-Alabama. Just ask TXST what happens when the Horns are playing, it's much more worse for those schools. There's areas of Louisiana that completely shut down due to LSU. McNeese has rabid fans who will show up. What will LU draw? I guess I could take shots at the gray hairs that your program is known for at the Montagne, but I'm assuming the students may actually start showing up for a football program. Lamar will lead slc attendance for first year.....

Through last weekend...the standings were TXST (11-1), Lamar (9-2), SFA (8-3) and UTSA (8-3). Apparently, I was pretty dead on with my top three being amongst the top four). UTSA had a REALLY bad loss yesterday against Nicholls, so yes -- right now, the top three are now TXST, SFA and Lamar. Figure my prediction was a bit more accurate than anything anyone came out with on this board. Then again, none of you are willing to talk much volleyball outside of discussing Ws and Ls...when we going to talk serve and pass? About liberos and hitting percentages...?
