The solution is simple. Build a team that no one in the slc can beat. Was Lamar that team? NO Was SFA that team? NO No top 8 slc team was far superior to the other. I hope Roc understands this. We need a Kenny Dawkins down low. There has to be a JUCO C/F with speed, size, and ability to score. Nabors has the speed and can score, but lacking in size. Worrel lacks scoring ability. Brown lacks scoring and size. Custer lacks toughness. Roc needs to drop Custer off at Roberts park during the summer to get that toughness.

SFA was able to take the easy route. SHSU/UTA will be drained in the Championship game.

Yes, it can happen. Poor leadership is the reason behind a mediocre school and basketball for the past 20 years. Leadership who thought dropping football was a briliant idea, leadership who thought taking Lamar out of a higher conference to play in the Southland was smart move. The good news is Lamar is coming out of the cave of stupidity. This year at Lamar was better than last year, next year will be better than this one.

Mcneese taught the slc how to beat Lamar. SELA confirmed the finding. UTA ran the program. I have been saying for the longest to add Boutte as an assistant. Coach Boutte is well respected through out all of Texas. He could land recruits Roc can only dream about. If Boutte was on staff, Keller would have signed with LU.

Next year we have a pure shooter coming in Moton. The other recruits will be freshmen, don't expect much from them.

You're right, Adam will move up in the world of the NFL. A little bias on my part. I grew up with Adam. We played on the same peewee league, same church, basically I taught him everything he knows.

The season is over, no NIT,no CBI. Lamar didn't end the season today, they ended the season last week. I was really pissed off because I knew when Mcneese beat SELA that Lamar season was over if Lamar lost to SELA. It was about seeding. SFA will cruise to the dance with double digit wins. Lamar gave SFA that easy route to the dance.

Marlin has won the SLC (regular-season twice, tournament once), so that's not really true. But he won't have to win the conference at Rice to be considered successful. If he can run off three-straight 20-win seasons, he will have done much better than Willis Wilson ever did. Marlin is a decent recruiter and a very good game-planner. I know, I just wanted to make steam come from Terrors ears.

How could Marlin win in CUSA when he can't win the SLC.
