Into the wind Karam wasn't having much luck, with 4 dropped passes from his top receiver. The first play in the 2nd quarter with the wind, he thew like a 60 yard touchdown pass. Also, cole fumbled after a 30 yard screen, and then fumbled once more in the rezone. It didn't seem like Fwood showed up ready to play (except 85).. that is just me though. Edit: I gave credit to both teams in my previous post, I was just letting BMT know what i thought after watching.

Wow.. just wow. I'm not taking anything away from Lt, since they are the best hs team i've ever seen play, but it seemed the only player to show up on Friendswood was 85. Regardless, Friendswood should be proud with how far they have come after losing so many seniors last year.. Lake Travis' offensive line is the best I've seen, when they would run or scramble their o-line would be right there with them, blocking eople 30-40 yards down the feild..

I havn't seen him play yet, but he obviously has talent to put up those stats and win Gatorade player of the year; however i watched film over him in our field house, and he didn't do much more than I have seen Jacob Karam do.. don't blow up on me, but did they even play a difficult schedule?

Either way, the head official ruled the ball down before either team recovered, its not like he waited to see central recover and then call it down. And I also saw the film in our field house, he appeared down to me.

I like how you think, that will eventually open play action and the deep threat. Like any other playoff game, this will be about putting points up every possesion and making the most of turnovers.

Yeah, well I saw the Central vs. Friendswood game being high scoring, but it wasn't so i'm thinking to see a little of the same, but maybe not. And on that upset of the year.. how about the #1 team who lost last night? Crazy.

Well said, 85....well said! I agree, y'all had the speed on us so keeping 2 WR out there would have spread our defence out, just too predictable in the 2nd half. Once again congradulations on your season, I have much more respect for Central than I did before. We both have young teams so maybe we will be seeing y'all next year around the same time . The game should have been settled on the field between kids and coaches, not by refs favoring a certain team for whatever reason. All of you are just disrespecting Central and Friendswood by putting it on the refs, why don't any of you point out the disrespect Central fans are throwing out there?

Why can't you man up and agree it was a good game like everyone else? You should be mature enough to get over comments made by other fans.

Misleading stats.... The penalties against Central wiped out 1 TD and a few +40 yard gains. And you knows it. The penalties were called on huge gains by Central, never on a 2 yard gain. 0 penalties against Friendswood the entire second half.... Are you really that immature to put blame on these refs? which were agreed on by both coatches? Thats low? And i guess in the second half when we shut central down, it was the refs too?

How about that ssoft defense? I don't care enough to break the stats out but once we adjusted at half y'all didn't get anything on us. Y'all are going to rush our qb? so he will run on your "fast" team. I'm done, congradulations and good job on your playoff run and only allowing us to put up 20 on yall tonight.
