I'm pulling for PN-G but wow I don't know? I thought of dayton to be just a running team but by looking at the nederland game I'm just not sure if the indians can stop a very balanced dayton offensive attack.

1.Ozen 2.Dayton 3.LC-M (almost the entire varsity team returning watch out) 4.Central 5.Nederland (will compete but atleast one year away) 6.Vidor 7.PN-G 8.Lumberton

If Lumberton wins out and dayton beats PN-G and these three teams have one district loss on the season who would be first? Dayton lost to Lumberton and Lumberton lost to PN-G and PN-G lost to dayton. 3 way tie for first?

As of right now I think this is how it will shape up. I hope I'm wrong though because I'm pulling for the raiders to make the post-season. Lumberton will beat ozen,lc-m, and lose to nederland putting the raiders at 5-2. As of right now dayton is playing with a huge chip on their shoulder blasting away teams. However, dayton still has central,nederland, and pn-g to play. I think dayton will win out and be district champs with the only lose to lumberton. PN-G will only have one lose also losing to dayton so PN-G will be in 2nd. Nederland will have two losses to PN-G and dayton and will get the 3rd spot. Lumberton will also have two losses to pn-g and nederland making them just short of the playoffs. I could be wrong though if the raiders do make the post-season they will probably beat ozen,lc-m, lose to nederland and have to have either pn-g or nederland beat dayton. going to be interesting.

This is for PN-G fans and whoever I compare jake hemmings with josh cook a running back who played for ya'll a couple years ago. Do you think that is a good comparison and who do ya'll think was/is the better back?

At the 2A level you have to go with Coach valastro at east chambers other that that I agree.

who cares abotu preseason people said it wouldnt prepare lumberton for district and now lumberton is 6-0 3-0 in district. This team keeps winning. However it should be a great game. Lumberton wins if they stop hemmings and cause turnovers. PN-G wins if hemmings wears out the raider d and PN-G's defense stops the raiders multiple running backs.

I just think the raiders have to look at this as just another district game. You can't put so much into this game. Yes, the winner is most likely to win district ,but the loser is still very likely to make the playoffs. However, either way whoever wins it will be a close game. Both teams are going to be able to run the ball. Which ever quarterback makes the least mistakes should be a big factor.

The main thing is can the raiders contain jake hemmings probably the biggest back they will have to face all year. He reminds me alot like josh cook.

Kountze is always talented and will still be a force this year. I don't see them winning state ,but will go a few rounds in the playoffs. I just don't think they have the experience or leadership. Who's going to step up and be a team leader like a C.J. Busby or Freddie Haynes? I don't think Devin Brey will! However, I could be wrong maybe his attitude has changed... ???

Trad your right ozen will be unstoppable and it will be jacolby's team. How many senior's does ozen have this year? I heard they only have a few. However, ozen is always talented. Should be a fun year!

I know this was last year but wow central was 2 points away from being district champs last year and a lumberton team last year that went 1-6 in district played central close last year losing 22-14 in central's stadium! This year lumberton is much much improved and the game is in lumberton! We shall see I say lumberton by 10. Central can't play like they did in the first half last week if they expect to win. If lumberton play's it close most of the win I give them the edge. Example...dayton

The differen between last years first 5 games and this year is Lumberton didn't have a quality win they do this year to a very good dayton team. Just take it one game at a time though! Should be interesting!

Nederland and Lumberton....If Central only beat LC-M by a touchdown then i guess when Central plays PN-G they will lose by alot cuz PN-G beat LC-M 41-13 you can't say just cuz lumberton gave up 14 against vidor they will give up 40 against central!
