I agree with 1990. The coaching from PNG over the past several years has been questionable. At least in Mid County Madness.

This one is a toss up. Ya never know in these games. I give Nederland a distinct edge because their defense is much stronger than PNGs. Roschon as always is the X-Factor.

I've been on this site since 2006. Those who are corrected on this site are generally those who break the written rules. Some people have egos and get butt hurt whenever they are corrected by a mod. This is the best high school football site around IMO.

Two teams in this district have cracked the top 10 of 5A D2. Another one started the season in the top ten and was defeated by the now #5 team in the state. #3 Crosby was almost beaten by Vidor. Barbers Hill almost knocked off Nederland the #10 team in the state.

#5 then Nederland knocked off #1 Pearland Dawson in 2012 regional semis. Of course this was the playoffs and a long time ago... My point is that every now and then the "unbeatable" team gets knocked off. I'm going with Crosby. Crosby 35 Manvel 28

WOW!! I was wrong... Just spent some time looking it up. My wife and I's property taxes went up a LOT this year. Guess it has to do with the county tax assessment of my property.

With the amount of taxes I pay in Nederland, they should be able to do something. I would not approve anything that would increase my astronomical taxes.

I believe this is the best thing that could happen to PAM. His teams won because of the individual talent of players, never because of his superior coaching ability. Memorial has the talent to make a deep run into the playoffs every year. I'm hoping they bring in a top quality coach for these kids. They deserve it.
