Everyone knows that PD is the favorite here.  Nederland is not going to lay back and get run over.  I think Nederland definitely has a shot. In reality I would think that its a 60- 40%split for Pearland.  Having said that I'm choosing the dogs by 7.  GO DOGS!!!!!

Great season SC... basketball is a great sport. Looks like big Ned went further than mighty SC

The defense of SC is being exposed. They also have found an offense that can go blow for blow. I don't really think SC IS done but I can't help and want them to lose simply because of the arrogance their fans possess

I for one think that Faircloth is a good coach and they had very little talent on the team this year.  Some years are like that... Take your lumps and support the kids win or lose. Nederland may be there in a few years again.  who knows...

They scored 13 points and their last TD came with 1 minute left. How many yards and points did they have against y'all? 2. Ned defense has allowed only 87 yards per game passing And has 17 INT. I bring this up since you feel that your Bulldogs would burn Neds 2ndary all game long. Doubtful. 3. Angleton is the only team all season to score more than 21 on Ned. They scored 39 and were aided by 5 Ned turnovers. The only other 2 teams to score more than 14 BOTH scored on the last play of the game against 2nd string D. Those teams were GCM and LCM. 4. Y'all gave up nearly 500 yards to Crosby. Ned held them to 159 and 7 points. 5. You asked earlier if Neds defense is similar to Vidor. Nederland is much bigger on the D Line and has a much better secondary in my opinion. I hope this game happens down the road. Lots of work to be done for both teams to make it happen. I have no doubts that the SC offense would be by far the best offense Ned has faced, but I will promise SC has yet to face a defense as Ned. Good luck this weekend vs. a very solid Georgetown team. No disrespect intended, but I gotta question a team that only beats Vidor by 6.  The new Dawgs hung 51 points on Vidor.  I know my analysis is like the BCS, but most times it proves out. [/quote] Our offense is improving every week.  Our Defense is our strong suit.  I believe our D can hang with anyone.  When we lose it will be due to our offense's inability to consistently produce. Another issue is our coaching staffs refusal to blow people out.  Nederland will throttle back after a decent lead is obtained.. I believe you should run full force and show now mercy... That is what the great teams do.  you never stop.

DemDogs... While I do believe SC is a real threat to state I believe you are underestimating Nederland.  They Could roll any of the teams you've named and did 2 of them.  I have a ton of respect for Vidor but cmon man... Give the ORIGINAL Dogs some love!!!!

SC will win... I have no doubt.  SC is a "next level" team this year.  they are borderline unstoppable. They are the type team that always knocks Nederland off come the third or 4th round...  I may eat my words but I think SC makes it at least to the regional final.

The teams were not at all even... Nederland dominated the game completely on both sides of the  ball... the two plays that worked for yall... # 20 qb delay qb keeper and the #10 qb hitting #12 across the middle... EASILY could have been 35-0
