We were at the Friendswood vs Dawson volleyball game last nite, for the district title. They let many students from Dawson sit in the FW stands, right on top of and taking over the seating for a lot of the FW fans. In addition, there were some volleyball parents from Dawson sitting right in the middle of the FW side, and then taking offense when folks cheered hard for FW or reacted to actions from the other team. They then proceeded to raise cain with the FW fans. What are you thinking, there was plenty of seating on the Dawson side when these parents sat in the FW section. They must really not want to sit with their fellow fans! I can understand the spillover thing a bit. But when there is plenty of seating, stay on your side and avoid the possible mess. Oh well.

[/quote] Thanks Oldeagle beat me to it, here is what I was typing when your post came in; Wow - way to lose with class. Then of course PNG would not stand a chance of course. And please the coach was simply arguing for his team. He never cursed, he, as was I , was convinced the first ball was called a strike. The ump had a very similar move to signify wide vs strike. I was positive he had called the first pitch a strike. Many many others were also convinced. One of my best friends, a PNG dad, told he he was sure it was called a ball, with the ump motioning wide. He had a better angle since he motioned towards the PNG bench and I trust my friend. But to react the way you did and then make the comment about losing the way you did was uncalled for. Geez, simply taking up for his team and he was convinced he was right.

Planned according to my friend to be a principal. That is good, these guys can make great principals!!

Looked all over and could not see a word about this. 24-4A is strong in basketball also, 3 teams in the TABC top 25 - LaMarque 3, Friendswood 11 and Dawson 25. Sure am glad we are dribbling basketballs!
