Forgot to post this! Friendswood 48 - Brazoswood 40 - Lots and lots of yards for both teams. FW was up 21 in the 4th and got a little relaxed as the subs came in - held on for a win. Bwood JV just like their varsity Big line, fast motors on the Linebackers and weak passing defense when you could get a pass off. We had most of our luck on the ground as they did, but teams had over 250 yards rushing! Looking forward to playing Nederland at Bulldog stadium Thursday.

FW Team is still coming together. Competed well against a talented Dayton team. Struggled vs a very physical Bwood D. Their number 98 is a D1 prospect and he is for real. Qback had happy feet because the Dline for Bwood was in there every play. If Nederland can do that - it will be a close contest. If not, FW should do ok. I really do not know much about Nederland size wise?

Geez, yall whine about FF and then you behave just like him. Yeah that was it Liltex, Dayton just wore us down, that is why we lost. Let me educate you two on classifications of football, it is real easy to figure out, but since you are showing signs of mental fatigue, I will help you out. Conference AAAAA should consist of a minimum of 220 schools and a maximum of 245 schools participating in football (depending on how many new schools there are next alignment period); Conferences AA through AAAA should consist of a number of schools such that the enrollment ratio in grades 9-12 between the largest school and the smallest school is approximately 2.0. There should be at least 200 schools each in Conferences AA and AAAA. Conference A shall consist of all schools that are not in Conferences AA-AAAAA. Here are all of the 4a enrollments - stop your whining. The smallest 5a schools that are in 5a based on enrollment is about 2150. Liltex you know how to look up numbers now learn how to use them. The two schools you throw out there are Fort Bend schools, the rest of the Fort Bend ISD schools are big 5A and the ISD wanted all their high schools to stay 5a in the same district. Duh! Fyi - since you two were not at the game - Bwood was not a huge upset. This is a big 5a school, awesome Defense, great Defensive end stud, strong offense. We scrimmaged Brook and Ball - they are very very weak compared to Bwood. Bwood would push Dayton all over the field also. PS - Central beating Ball is like beating a JV team, oh wait, that is what a Dayton fan said when we discussed our results vs Ball. See why you do not say stupid things? Bottom line - FW beat Dayton. Both teams are not as good as last year. WE all should hope that both teams do well in the playoffs - I hope they do. In addition 7mary3 and liltex - I post the link to the enrollments of 4a so you can post educated posts in the future. PS 7mary3 - we are a large 4a school and will probably stay 4a, live with it!! FW offense scored 7 points. That seems like a pretty optimistic post for an offense that didn't do a whole lot. Couldn't have been many "pancake blocks". Just saying.... Did you read the entire post? We moved the ball a ton and did not put it in the end zone!! Mental mistakes and unforced turnovers, do you know what that means? You can have over 250 yards offense, which we did, and only score 7 points with the offense. Capice? Wanna watch the film and count the pancakes, at least 10! Sorry that you doubted my credibility - but I was there and you were not. I watched the film and you did not. Next comment? 250 yards of offense? That's supposed to impress someone? Good luck with the recovery. We had many players from Friendswood sick in the game vs Dayton, varsity and JV, including my son. They played well and fought thru the flubug. Many schools are suffering thru this, again good luck. Hope the kids feel better real soon.

Friendswood reminds me alot of the Aggies. They both usually have a winning season but never win make it too far in the playoffs/bowl games. Lace up them basketball shoes and come see Dayton play on Saturdays in December.. AGAIN!!! Ok - we will come back and compare notes. Would you like to do that after every sport - that would be very interesting. How many football State titles has Dayton won? How many state titles in anything? Just wondering? PS wanna play some basketball, baseball, volleyball, golf , tennis, soccer or football - we do pretty good at all of them!

Well said. Oh and purple 4 ever - We would be glad to review football history with you, FW would stack up fine. Having won 62% of our games over the past 3 decades compared to 53% for Dayton. We also do very well in Baseball, basketball, volleyball , soccer, tennis, golf and academic decathlon. Yes we are proud - we work hard and get results. Would be glad to compare results in all these areas. You opened up that door. Ps - we have won the last 7 games vs Dayton - so expect some strutting! Some Dayton fans seem to have a short memory about last year. FW went to the State Semis and Dayton went to the State finals, remember? Fun game. FW showed up despite the odds, and won another one. We had 5 turnovers, when we fix those - we will really be good. Dayton passing game must improve, offense looked one dimensional. Need to get the ball to 7 more. D Line was not what I had heard about, bad game perhaps. Number 5 on Dayton needs an attitude adjustment. Lots of trash talk and then he got lit up. Overall a very well played clean game and both teams can look forward to a good year. Ploch is a good hard playing player, no attitude from him!
