  1. Great Post Rebel Yeller! I am glad to see the whole district back in action as well. Go get 'em Rebels!
  2. Interpretation is something that drives most of the threads on this site. I was only replying to an earlier post on this thread about some of the predictions. The Rebels will win, by however much they want to. My point was that the score is irrelevant.
  3. No sense in jumping to conclusions. I am sure that you get the answers if you go and ask the people who are involved. Coach Hodges/AD for instance, he or the Trainer/AD would be the ones to ask.
  4. KS, now you got me wondering about JC ???
  5. I can certainly understand that. Good Luck! We will discuss the outcome later. I know who LR1969 is.......
  6. CHill yeller!!!!!! No one said anything about running up the score. ???
  7. Joe Bama ???
  8. Coach Williams and the Rebels have nothing to prove by beating Burkeville 56 to 0. The Rebels will take the lead early and the starters will be well rested for next weeks game. Coach Williams will have the Rebels prepared for the game. The Rebs could win by as much as they want, but what is the sense in that. Good Luck Rebels.......No Injuries!!! See you next week.
  9. I wish Aaron Cook a speedy recovery. Good Luck HD & Chester......No Injuries!!!
  10. A tear falls from Indian Cheif as he surveys the ship wreck that litters Pirate Stadium.
  11. Why??? Those mosqitoes down there just eat that for a snack...... I was thinking of something to help keep the Cardinals off of the Bulldogs........ :D Good Luck against the Sharks Friday night, No Injuries!!
  12. Hey Yeller! You might want to take it one game at a time. :D
  13. I let my boys down this week. Mason Mounkes had 212 yards on 11 carries, 2 TD and 1 Int. I will have to get on it next week. Hopefully the same kind of stats for the young man. Once he hits the hole, he is gone. Go CARDINALS!!! Beat those Oilers!!!
  14. The game is at 2:00 pm. Clifton is coming in for the game. I told him that you may try to come to the game. I thought you were LR1969. I don't know??? Is it Kevin??? It has to be, I don't know who else road in the Tuff Truck on the Road trip. That part is a little sketchy as well. have you been down to the beach yet? I hope you can make it to the game.
  15. Swim Teams will not either, but I think that is getting carried away. IMO, they were told not to do it, but did it anyway. White T-shirts can be painted just as well. It is good to see that they came to an agreement on the Homecoming game. It is a sad day when the school board has to settle something that the parents should have handled at home before the game in the first place. I am sure that the kids involved (SCRUBS) are very respectful kids, but if they were told not to do it and then did it anyway????, then there is a breakdown in the respect department as far as how parents feel that school administration should handle the discipline of the students. I guess it will always be an ongoing struggle for school administrators all over Texas to enforce policy and make parents happy at the same time. I may be wrong, but I believe that Friday Night Football is played on the field and the focus is supposed to be on the Football players, Cheerleaders and Drill Team/Band members.
  16. Great Job Colmesneil! Thanks for the good ole Texas Hospitality! Chester will be extending their hands in similar fashion by showing brotherly love and community support for High Island on October 31. Colmesneilfan1, I will see on November 8 in High Island. You might want to bring an extra can of OFF! Good Luck this week, take it easy on the Sharks? or Not! ??? Go CARDINALS!!!
  17. That is the great thing about High School football, anything can happen when the whistle blows to start the game. You just have to believe that it can happen. Work on the little things and big things will happen. Good Luck Warriors!!! Hit em HARD!!! Go CARDINALS!!!
  18. The Massey Rankings are not updated for 1A. Well let me correct it, they do not have updated schedules or game scores for District 23 1A. Not that it would change the top 25 or anything?
  19. Hey Bucman, I think most people posting on here are from the show me state. The ones who are pulling for the Cards, but still chose West Hardin, want the Fighting Cardinals to prove that they are "A Force to Be Reckoned With". West Hardin is the favorite, but some on here really want the Cardinals to pull out the upset. Your support it appreciated and I hope you can make to the game. Maybe you can get your parents down to HI to watch the game as well. I am pretty sure that I will see you there!!! I have expressed to some of boys that this is the biggest game of their lives and they welcome it with open arms. The Fighting Cardinals are focused on the opportunity that stands before them. Go CARDINALS!!!
  20. Ozen confirms that the light at the end of the tunnel is a train, "The L-Train".
  21. It is 1A football, anything can happen! Go get `em Sharks! I am glad to see that you will get to play a few games this year. Play your hearts out, and enjoy it.
