It's very simple. The majority of posts on the basketball forum are HJ guys posting. This is the forum that they have more interest in and enjoy posting. Nothing wrong with that. nothing i said is saying anything bad about the coaches. i just said the way people are talking like they are playing the best teams in the area but they didnt im asking because they make HJ seem like the best basketball program on the planet and I looked at there schedule and it pretty much sucked Come on Ed...............your a coach.........I would not say another coaches schedule that he built sucked. Your smarter than that. By the way..............they have been to the state tourney 2 out of the last 3 years so let them stick to what they are doing and you do what you do. I would like you to find where someone said they are playing the best teams in the area? By the way the only one they have not played is Ozen. When you say a schedule sucks that is a direct knock at the coach because he schedules it. The results in the playoffs speak for themselves...............wouldn't you agree? like i said its nothing at the coaches,but the way people talk on this forum about HJ is like they are playing the best teams in the world. its nothing wrong with the way they are scheduling because sutherland is a real good coach but THE WAY THEY TALK ON HERE is like they are playing the best when they are not. now do you see what im saying I still beg you to find where someone said we play the best teams! You won't find it. We think we are a very good 3A program and that is a fact. Quit inferring what we are saying and read the post. Because we think we are great in 3A does not mean we think we are good or even could compete in 4A or 5A. We are what we are and love being a small 3A town that is good at basketball. Nothing more and nothing less. there you go again..if you read right the word LIKE is in there when i say the way yall talk is LIKE yall playing the best team..the magic word is LIKE...but last time i checked Central was smacking yall when i was in school nad is still smacking yall from what i saw on the schedule this year so if they cant get past Central and think yall can compete 4a or 5a..THINK AGAIN

Well I kind of know how you feel because I started at 18 also but it was easier for me because I was around the game for so long. You have to pay attention not to the big things but mostly the little things. Like Vitale said they have alot of books and videos that an help you out also

Man LEBRON is the better player hands down. People talk about what all Kobe has accomplished but look at all Lebron has accomplished also. Kobe has the beter team. if they were to trade teams Lebron gets a ring. Kobe probably not even make the playoffs

to be honest he should be given credit for alot of success aorund beaumont. he coached the Central 99 team to

its not about having a back bone its about helping kids. coaches get to caught into winning so much they forget the real reason they became a coach your argument is backwards. if it's not about winning, and it's about helping the kids, you'd let kids go unpunished so that they can continue to play basketball? you're saying he's too worried about winning because he'd kick a troublemaker off the team??? kicking a kid off the team or suspending him is one of the best things that can happen to a young man going down the wrong path. if he loves basketball and his team enough, he'll straighten up. he'll learn that his actions have consequences, and that being 6'9" or having a sweet jumpshot does not make up for acting like a fool off the court. "helping" a kid by letting him get away with things and keeping him on the team will just reinforce the belief that he is above the rules because he's a good ballplayer. that is very understandable but what happens when you go to kick him off or suspend a player for a game, the people above you step in and stop it everytime cuz they know what the kid would be doing if he wasnt playing basketball

well they would have to get rid of their leading scorer and leading rebounder cuz they are the trouble,but people wont let that happen
