1. We would love to have Dayton support at the game, but if my team was out I would go catch the triple header at Reliant!!! 3-1 baby!!!!  Hope the Eagles don't eat to much Turkey tomorrow, but hope them and thier families have a great ThanksGiving :)
 2. The Differnce was a scrimmage is a practice :o
 3. I'm Logged in and ready ;D However the splash screen for the broadcast reads SETXsports Weekly High School Preview Show September 4, 2012 6:00 pm I'm assuming the link is correct.

Ozen had Green last year along with #1 RB. I'm just saying if you guys are excited about Ozen taking you into OT then thats your call. Livingston beat Ozen and we shut Livingston COMPLETLY out. The Coogs should have dominated this game from beggining to end ,but keept Ozen in the game with poor play calling and execution. Manor will be a lot better than Ozen, stumble against them and your done.
You scored 14 more and gave up 25 more, which one is better? I'll take the 22 and giving up 15 instead of 40 at home. Playcalling wasn't poor, it's just harder to throw passes on Ozen than BH because they actually have dbs that can stay with our receivers. We ran similar plays on BH but the receivers just smoked your dbs and dropped the ball. Yeah, Livingston beat Ozen  and we should have on paper at least dominated them, but that's like me saying BH couldn't move the ball on a weak Dayton defense or Summer Creek. We'll see how BH does against Elgin, spread offense with speed on the edges and a running game. Last two games BH played against a Crosby team like that they gave up 900+ yards and 70 points, good luck though. We both win two more we get to meet in Stallworth and watch Crosby cropdust BH again.
I love how you talk about Dayton and SC vs. BH ... LOL both of those teams dominated your kitty kats while BH played them close without thier starting QB. IF BH and Crosby meet again BH would mop the stadium with that crap yall threw at Ozen ;D ;D ;D Here's to Manor Shutting up Cougar14 (if that is even possible) ;)
I think Bh would beat Crosby now also their defense has improved alot after that 1st game , I also think Vidor wouldve beat Nederland if their game wouldve been towards the end of the season. JMO
Yeah , but knuckle head don't see it that way ;D After giving away 35 to Crosby BH only allowed 41 points total through the next 8 games!! Thats a 5 point a game average :o Crosby made Ozen look like a regional finalist last Saturday ;) Hopefully they have gotten all of that out of thier system because it only gets tougher from here. I do hope Crosby advances and good luck to them.
First of all, how would you know it only gets tougher from here? You've never seen BH in a second round playoff game. Second, we heard the same story last year from BH when they were talking about the three backs with 600 yards. All I saw was little red lasers running up and down the field. Mirror image of this year and will surely look the same next with senior twins. Good luck to y'all too. We both win two more and y'all get to get another whipping with everybody in the SETX watching, that way everybody can see how non-competetive the prey looks against the predator. Instead of just 300 yards, I think Austin would put 350 on y'all this time though. After next year he's going to be close to 1000 total yards on BH alone.
Well seeing as how bh at least one state title in football (even though it was in a different classification) I would say they have more sense about the playoffs than y'all do kid lmao.
2 State Champs to be correct and Crosby can't hold a candle to the BH football tradition in fact we own the all time wins against the kitty kats and always will ;D

 6.
This one is gonna be a shoot out. If the Twins from Crosby are as dynamic as you guys say they are, this should be a very close game. Manor has been good against the run ever since the Leander game. That game taught us a lesson about "big boy" football.  We are extremely quick at the skill positions. If Manor cuts out the turnovers and penalties from last week (4 TO's, 16 penalties), we should be able to pull this one out.
Hey chrcj71 weh you get a chance hope over to the BH/Eglin Thread and tell us what you think about Elgin :)

Where SC would have trouble is on defense. I've seen some mammoth O-lineman on those teams. That aside, SC matches up well. Northshore needs to win some 7-on-7 vs SC in the offseason before trying to beat us in d regular season. Katy owns Northshore anyway. Katy has a smooth striding running back, but that dude is SLOW. I don't see SC going 5A. If anything, Atascocita might drop down to 4A.
Katy would shut you guys out! IMO!
It's a lot of 5A teams that would beat the dog censored out of SC right now... I thought Manvel was tough censored last year too & yes we were a great 4A team.  5A is a rude awakening bro... I know, I'm experiencing it now.  Early in the season PAM would have drug Manvel up and down the field. (and I'm a Manvel fan). Honestly 5A is a whole different ball game in the trenches.  Playing a teams like NS convinced me of that.  When a team has 2 or 3 different, big and talented lines on both side of the ball to throw at you for 4 quarters, depth immediatedly becomes an issue.  And the average 5A team never quit... never!  LP and PAM has learned how to play against the big schools... Scheme wise, clock wise etc... It's not easy bro.  SC can't beat half the teams that lost in the 1st round of 5A playoffs. ex:  PAM, Pearland, Cy Falls, Lake Travis, Cy Fair, Klein Oak, Spring Dekaney... etc  Manvel would probably be ranked #1 4A without the alignment.  Now we just in the middle of the pack taking it one game at a time.  It ain't easy.  There's no Yates, Sharpstowns etc... in 5A playoffs.
I believe the best high school football in the country is played in Texas at the 5a level. I think you might be overstating it a little bit though. Teams like DeSoto, North Shore, Dallas Skyline, Allen, Westfield, and Euless Trinity are usually good year after year because of their talent pool. A team like Katy on the other hand is good because of the system and coaching. Katy has 5 titles I believe but maybe other than lineman don't produce a lot of highly recruited talent in comparison to the previous schools I mentioned. This is why I think Travis is going to have trouble now that their talent pool doesn't dwarf everybody elses. I know everybody is going to say Andy Dalton which I agree with but he became that under Gary Patterson in college, I think he only had like two D1 offers out of Katy. That's why guys like Dean and Mitchell went to college but got beat out by much less sought after kids and transferred. Dean is getting some playing time at TCU right now but that's beacause Waymon James and another guy are hurt. Katy has a good back now but I think if you put any capable back behind that line you get similar numbers, it doesn't even look like a drop off when you put the backup in. Lake Travis was in a similar situation in 4a, great coaching and system but not the Saturday talent you get with a 4a SC right now. Garrett Gilbert is a prime example of this, he was the Gatorade national player of the year and set the Horns back 5 years. He's even killing SMU right now. Manvel is similar to SC where they have good coaching but the main reason they're good is because of their Saturday talent. I think SC would be just like Manvel is right now in 5a if they had the same enrollment. I think SC would beat this year's PAM team too, they aren't as good as last year.
I respect your opinion... I just don't think a team that beat a one dimensional BH team 24-7 this time of year is capable of beating a seasoned 5A team like PAM.  WHATEVER YOU DO BEST... THEY WILL TAKE AWAY!  BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE TALENT & SAVY TO DO IT.   I guarantee half the 4A teams SC played did not have the players on the field to come close to competing like that.  I've been on both sides of the fence... It's a different ballgame.  Your trenches must be nasty bro.  Average skill players and NASTY TRENCHES will get you deep in the playoffs.  (ie KATY) Great skill players and a average trench play will have you in a jam every Friday night. (ie CY FALLS)... JMO...
They also got held to 299 total yards by a 4-7 4a team SC would have rolled up nearly 500 on easily. SC played their worse game of the year on BH and was still up 21 points in the 4th quarter. BH isn't a good example anyway because they run it every play and the games are short with limited possessions. BH is similar to Katy though, not a lot of talent but extremely well coached and disciplined. I think they only gave up more than 24 points once on the season and that was to a team with a rb that's going to have over 2,000 yards this year.
Notice I said this late in the season... PAM would beat Central and BH by 50 right now. The same night!
YYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNN ;D

I didn't watch the whole thing, but they love the draw play and don't throw as much as i thought. Although this was early in the season ,so I'm sure they have balanced that attack out.

Dayton's D will shut down the run today. Goodluck Bronco's COMPLETE THE SWEEP!!!!!!!!
not so much
Yep I already have been eating my crow for that statement ;D Eating Crow for Dayton isn't easy either ;)

Elgin – 93 completions on 195 attempts for a 47% completion rate at 1,472 yards. Rushing BH – 440 carries for 3, 293 yards at 7.48 YPC. Elgin – 421 carries for 2,594 yards at 6.16 YPC. Total Yards BH – 4019 Elgin – 4066 It’s hard to tell just how good the wildcats are. The bottom of their district is even worse than ours, so there are many blow outs of teams scoring 70+ on the weaker teams in district. When the cats did play a better team in district they didn’t put up many points even getting blow out by the top two in district. The BH D will keep the Cats in check, but the offense will have to get the passing game working early to keep the Cats honest. Against Livingston you could tell that Denny was off and wasn’t much of a factor in the game. He will have to come out firing on all cylinders to win this game because I don’t think Elgin will be turning the ball over as much as Livingston did. With all that said I think the Eagles win this one. BH 27 Elgin 13
Where is this game being played , I might go and check it out since my team is home! ;D ;D
Woodforest stadium (The Woodlands) 1:30 Saturday.
