Everybody just giving sc a hard time. In all honesty dayton will be fighting for a 4th place finish and I hope someone from 19 4a is able to make a deep run. Im stuck going to watch ned and dawson now.
And why do you think this? I don't believe that for one second.
seniors jackson toussant barton bethea huebra butterfield swazer mcbride st andre carranco robinson campbell. Same play calling im sure. These are the reasons I think this. Dayton lost entire defensive line 3 line backers 3 offensive lineman our best safety and a good running back not to mention an all state kicker.
Dayton does seem to be losing alot to graduation. Crosby may return the most with BH returning the 2nd most. BH is losing alot on the lines though and that is huge for the offense we run. I wonder how much the buble teams are returing in KWP and CEK.
why just stop with football. Dayton is going all out and going to suck in basketball to. I heard in order to outdue our football team the basketball team is running 3 different plays plus a bb version of the bubble screen. Maybe this year we will be at home come playoff time with bh. At least we still have girls bb. Thats what im hanging my hopes and dreams on.
BH will crush those dreams as well ;D Hey look at the bright side there is always ......um....uh.....well..........yeah your right good luck in girls basket ball ;D

 6.
Is Barbers Hill doing good so far??
I heard they beat PNG last week, but Don't know if PNG is any good either ;)

 8.
I noticed alot of bh runners leaving their feet. That is not a good thing to do when carrying the rock. If nick doesnt leave his feet that injury never happens. I noticed it alot in the 3 bh games I saw this year. I will say this nick should be the mvp of bh without that kid I didnt see much offense. He is hard to bring down and opens things up for everyone else.
You aint Kidding! With out Nick we wouldn't have been near as good this year! He gets the ball moving when we need it and gets the team fired up too. Still can't beleive he continued playing with multiple fractures in his back! I hope he gets well soon!
 9. I think we may have found a fan base that is more delusional than Dayton after a purple cool aid run ;) 19-4A Just got thier butts handed to them in Round 2 nothing more and nothing less. I also thought that SC may have something special this year ,but heck after watching FB Marshal in DivII they would beat SC. :'( I think Nederland just dodged a bullet with Connaly's QB getting knocked out of the game or we would all be playing B-Ball 8)
 10. I heard the same thing. He tryed to jump over the line during a 1st half run and got spun around and landed flat on his back. They worked on him a little bit and then more at half time then he came back out and ran the ball the rest of the half. I hope he is ok as well, he showed a lot of heart out thier yesterday!
 11.
Is Danny Lauve still the head coach at Elgin? When he left Jasper, I think that's where he went.
Somebody said during the game that the Elgin coach is in his 3rd year there.
 12. Finally back from the game. First congrats to BH for getting to the 2nd round of the playoffs this year and to the seniors that worked thier butts off all year that may never play this great game again. Pardon the Pun ,but the Eagles just laid a big fat egg in this one. Even without the 5 turnovers this may have been a pretty good game, but with them it was just pitaful execution today in most aspects of the game :( The good news is that we donot have to go get beat by 50 next week agains FB Marshall ;D Goodluck to Eglin on trying to climb that mountain! That team killed a very good Texas City team and looked like a team on a mission! Any way BH should be returing a lot of talent next year and I believe this may have been the last time to see Denny in a football uniform! If so goodluck to him in his baseball carear next year and at UT.

They have about 5-6 kids that can take it to the house at anytime!
i didnt know anything about them
Looks like the polsters were not paying attention again. FB Marshall will take Region III IMO.

 16.
I put together a small amount of clips from the Livingston game. This is no where close to all of the great plays but it was already too long. Pretty sure all of the boys have the full DVD and if not then hit me up. Our D is why I think we can play with anyone right now. Our O will get their yards now days. It's a great ride. [Hidden Content]
Great Video! that interception by #22 was just awesome. If the Eagles bring that same intensity to Elgin they will be going to Round 3! Goodluck Eagles. Going to the Texas City game tommorrow to check out the competition.
 17.
For the past few years Thanksgiving has been pretty sweet.  Eat some turkey, watch some football, go to sleep, wake up after Thanksgiving and meet your friends that you haven't seen for a year at the Broncos playoff game.  This one and done stuff has seriously impacted my social schedule.  To top it off, I keep checking the message board out of habit only to be reminded that it's basketball season in Dayton.  Oh well, happy turkey day everyone.  Gobble, gobble.
Look at the bright side their are two triple headers at Reliant this weekend  ;D
 18. He would do a much better job than OBAMA ;D
 19. We would love to have Dayton support at the game, but if my team was out I would go catch the triple header at Reliant!!! 3-1 baby!!!!  Hope the Eagles don't eat to much Turkey tomorrow, but hope them and thier families have a great ThanksGiving :)
 20. The Differnce was a scrimmage is a practice :o
 21. I'm Logged in and ready ;D However the splash screen for the broadcast reads SETXsports Weekly High School Preview Show September 4, 2012 6:00 pm I'm assuming the link is correct.

Ozen had Green last year along with #1 RB. I'm just saying if you guys are excited about Ozen taking you into OT then thats your call. Livingston beat Ozen and we shut Livingston COMPLETLY out. The Coogs should have dominated this game from beggining to end ,but keept Ozen in the game with poor play calling and execution. Manor will be a lot better than Ozen, stumble against them and your done.
You scored 14 more and gave up 25 more, which one is better? I'll take the 22 and giving up 15 instead of 40 at home. Playcalling wasn't poor, it's just harder to throw passes on Ozen than BH because they actually have dbs that can stay with our receivers. We ran similar plays on BH but the receivers just smoked your dbs and dropped the ball. Yeah, Livingston beat Ozen  and we should have on paper at least dominated them, but that's like me saying BH couldn't move the ball on a weak Dayton defense or Summer Creek. We'll see how BH does against Elgin, spread offense with speed on the edges and a running game. Last two games BH played against a Crosby team like that they gave up 900+ yards and 70 points, good luck though. We both win two more we get to meet in Stallworth and watch Crosby cropdust BH again.
I love how you talk about Dayton and SC vs. BH ... LOL both of those teams dominated your kitty kats while BH played them close without thier starting QB. IF BH and Crosby meet again BH would mop the stadium with that crap yall threw at Ozen ;D ;D ;D Here's to Manor Shutting up Cougar14 (if that is even possible) ;)
I think Bh would beat Crosby now also their defense has improved alot after that 1st game , I also think Vidor wouldve beat Nederland if their game wouldve been towards the end of the season. JMO
Yeah , but knuckle head don't see it that way ;D After giving away 35 to Crosby BH only allowed 41 points total through the next 8 games!! Thats a 5 point a game average :o Crosby made Ozen look like a regional finalist last Saturday ;) Hopefully they have gotten all of that out of thier system because it only gets tougher from here. I do hope Crosby advances and good luck to them.
First of all, how would you know it only gets tougher from here? You've never seen BH in a second round playoff game. Second, we heard the same story last year from BH when they were talking about the three backs with 600 yards. All I saw was little red lasers running up and down the field. Mirror image of this year and will surely look the same next with senior twins. Good luck to y'all too. We both win two more and y'all get to get another whipping with everybody in the SETX watching, that way everybody can see how non-competetive the prey looks against the predator. Instead of just 300 yards, I think Austin would put 350 on y'all this time though. After next year he's going to be close to 1000 total yards on BH alone.
Well seeing as how bh at least one state title in football (even though it was in a different classification) I would say they have more sense about the playoffs than y'all do kid lmao.
2 State Champs to be correct and Crosby can't hold a candle to the BH football tradition in fact we own the all time wins against the kitty kats and always will ;D

 24.
This one is gonna be a shoot out. If the Twins from Crosby are as dynamic as you guys say they are, this should be a very close game. Manor has been good against the run ever since the Leander game. That game taught us a lesson about "big boy" football.  We are extremely quick at the skill positions. If Manor cuts out the turnovers and penalties from last week (4 TO's, 16 penalties), we should be able to pull this one out.
Hey chrcj71 weh you get a chance hope over to the BH/Eglin Thread and tell us what you think about Elgin :)
