We will grind it out till the final buzzard, but you don't have to worry about 70 + yard TD's going on. With Livingston I think they have 2 guys that can take it to the house if they get loose. Denny and Oneal have this ability, but not against the better Defenses.

Ok I just went and look through the chronicle again and found that you might as well throw out the stats they are keeping for Livingston  ;D No stats for Ozen or College Park game and the Central game shows no penalities for either team ;D Now we will have to wait till tommorrow to see what this Livingston team is made of ;) They played Nederland tight, so I'm expecting this will be a very good game.

[/quote]I don't think you can use our Ned game for much. We maybe ran 20% of what we run now. First time those kids had heard those plays called in a game situation. Austin only got the ball 12 times and Riordan asked Aston not to run. The first designed play where the qb could run wasn't called until the first district game with BH. Even still with that the only put up 21 points and basically got shutout the last three quarters once the D adjusted. I agree with the rest of you assessment though, I've been saying all year that Dayton can't stop the run but the Brono fans tell me "who cares, we're winning, or we give up those yards late." Hopkins isn't the game breaker Walter is but he's bigger and great at finding 5 or 6 yards. I mean that's their expertise.... [/quote] Daytons Run D against BH may have something to do with BH's running game being limited. Once Denny went out all we did is run up the middle and you had no worries of a Pass or an option. However I do think the Dayton Run Defense is pretty good and they will not have to worry about a Sharp like QB in this game. If Dayton can get the head on straight they will compete in this game, if not Nederland will control the clock and pound out a win.

Still think Collins is the key here. Stop him and Livingstion is going to have a long night. Last year with Ozen we stopped thier stud RB dead in his tracks ,but they had a QB who could throw the ball and that was our beginning to that end :'( I trust that the BH D will limit Mr. Collins and take care of business on the offensive side. 1 more day and it's game time!!!

Carranco is good ,but not superman. During the BH game he was outshined by our kicker big time! Carranco had a horrible game agsint BH the last two years. Still rooting for Dayton, but throwing out a little reality ;)

The only one that can bring any real information to this topic is Trocket ;D I know Trocket has been to at least 3 BH games this year ;) I for one have not seen Livingston play a down of football so all i have to go by is what i can read. Oh and PS BH has 5 backs as well , so this is just not the Denny /O'neal show. Livingston has 5 Guys who have scored TD's this year while BH has had 15!!! yes i didn't typo 15 guys scored TD's this year ;D

On the ground he ran  104 times for 494 yards and 9 TD's BH's Denny - Comp = 30 Attempts = 53 for 57% average........Yards through the air 508 for 3 TD's and 1 INT's. On the ground he ran  54 times for 540 yards and 10 TD's Denny only played 8 games this year not sure about Collins. I had to say that before some one thinks I'm forgetting the Twin. [/quote] True. Denny isn't as athletic as Sharp or Walters, but the kid is smart and runs this offense very well. Denny also has some wheels and can throw the ball effectivly if needed. Livingston also has a better #2 back than BH which should help mix it up some.
