Geez 8)
Your overconvidence didn't do well for Datyon :'( ;D
Looks like a bunch of them are picking up their marbles and going home...What happened?
No idea! Can't stand the heat then quite trying to make fires ;D ;D They will be ok and talking about State Championships by May ;)
 2.
Relaxed, no worries, I understand the concept of trash talk. Seems most BH fans are consumed with stats. Here is one that is very telling to me. Eagles opponents have a combined 39-51 record, Livingston opponents have a combined 52-47 record. Two common opponents are Dayton & Lumberton.  Both lost to Dayton and blew out Lumberton. One thing is for sure, both are physical football teams. Should be an old school smash mouth football game. The winning team will limit mistakes, team with fewest penalties and fewest turnovers will win this one.
I endorse this post  ;D Livingston has had the tougher schedule that is for sure, BH has up'ed its level of play as the season has went on and if it wasn't for the injury to our QB I think we would have beat Dayton and played SC even closer. We have him back this game along with our starting Saftey that has been out most the year, so I'm Confident that the Eagles will be rolling on all cylinders Friday Night

Seems that all the Barbies on here are very full of themselves, with absolutely NO foundation for their swagger. Could be a rude awakening for some come Friday.
90% of us are just messing around ::) Relax ;D  I think Livingston will bring it Friday and BH will too, just think BH will win ;D

I think this years team is as good or better than that team 48 years ago. If the Pirates stay focused, they can go far in the play-offs. Go Pirates.
Don't take the black pearl lightly............ ;)
I remember in 1964, the Vidor Pirates were a 3A team, and had advanced to the State semefinals, versus the powerful San Marcus team. I also remember we took student busses to the game. The game was hectick from start to finish. We sure had a team, Larry Tilton, Bubba Pullen, Sparky Robinson, Elmo smith, and the list continues of greatness. These guys were not giants, like they have now. But no one will never forget the unforgettable fieldgoal, that missed the uprights by inches, by Larry Tilton, to give San Marcus the win by penatrations, 3 to 2. These Pirates need to overcome this obsticle and go to state.
Love those names :) Larry, Bubba, Sparky and Elmo !!! LOL You better hope Vidor is a lot better than a 1964 3A playoff team  ;)

You have had way too much, way too early. You are delusional if you think either team will win in a blow out. The Barbies have played three viable teams all season and lost to all three, but played each one close. Livingston has played six playoff teams, lost to five and played all pairly close. Both teams lost to Dayton in a relatively close game. Both teams blew out Lumberton. These are two evenly matched teams. Both play smash mouth football. This will be a hard faught, close game. It will probably turn on a special teams play, a turnover or one big play. Oh yea, and the tradition of loosing in the first round of the playoffs.
Hmmm... last 4 years Livingston has made the playoffs twice and lost both times in the 1st round, so it looks like you have a tradition of your own ONE AND DONE or in two of those years NONE AND DONE ;D ;D
Don't kill me for this stat, it doesn't have anything to do with Crosby. Just two weeks ago Livingston gave up 342 rushing yards and 42 points to Vidor. BH is a similar, run it 60 times team but do have a relatively good defense. Unless Collins goes crazy, I think BH pounds Livingston.
That's your problem, you're trying to think ;D ;D all you know or think you know is stats, take it from someone who knows football, stats can be deceiving when comparing one team to another, you need to learn to look at personnel, coaching, etc. I know for a fact Livingston runs more than 1 defense and have different players for each game situation. They will see Friday our defensive Coach will shut them down, I'm not going to say anymore, we'll just wait until Friday. ;D ;D
You know there is game films right? I don' think you are gaurding the higly secret secrets that you think you are gaurding ;) If either coach is looking for scouting information from this web site, there team is in deep doo doo ;D
Exactly, that's why ststs don't mean doo doo ;D ;D They mean more after the game but doo doo before it. ;D ;D Do you have stats between BH@LIVINGSTON this year yet, neither do I, let's watch the films come up with a game plan, get between the lines and see if it works. ;D ;D STATS, DOO DOO, and wipe my OOOPs with them. ;D ;D ;D ;D
Stats is all that we have ;D Hey how many games did Collins miss this year. He was out against the Bronco's (I think).
 11.
Ok, here its the big scoop: Coach Stewart is coming out of retirement which means we get a bye to Area because Nederland refuses to play a team coached by Big Stew. Out of respect SC relinquishes its district title which means Vidor forfeits as well. In embarassment for the immediate tail tucking by Nederland they don't want to play SC and they get a bye as well. Therefore 19-4A is 2-0 already against 20-4A, thats if Ozen and Livingston stay in it. They may forfieit out of fear that Stewart might come watch one of their games because Dayton has a bye. If he does they know they'll be down 2 TD's before the game even starts, just because he's in the stadium. In that case its a clean sweep. 4-0 on to week 2 of the playoffs. There its out!
Thank God! We are finially going to the 2nd round!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

 15.
This will be Barbers Hill's last shot a getting a playoff victory in 4A. How long will it be before they get there 1st playoff victory in 5A? Realignment might get them a Bi-District foe from other than the present 20-4A.
5A ? We are the smalest school in 19-4A.
That is correct, the home side was extended on both ends. Not sure of the capacity though.
North Shore only holds 10,500 and is probably one and a half times bigger than BH. I don't think there's anyway BH holds 9k. Unless y'all expanded since the Crosby game last year, it's tight in there. I think Crosby and BH set the then attendance record for the staduim and it was packed with only about 7k, the bands were in the stands too though.
BH did expand the stands since Crosby was theree, Texas Bob has the stadium listed at 8000 capacity, but that was befor the 1000 seats were added. Eagle Stadium is at 9000 capacity now. 19. I think this would have been a good match up last year, but Crosby should be to much for Ozen.....unless they pull a KWP and spot ozen 21 ;)
 20.
Dylan Towery is a junior and like 6'3" and yeah he runs a 7 flat. He's a good kid. Got hurt early but he is back and looking to hit somebody. On that same note I guess Gigout gets to go back to corner. Uh oh, looks like we might have a secondary!!!!! New excuse-------- our secondary didnt have time to gel.
I think both secondary's will be asleep in this game  ;D Livingston has trown for 500 yards and we are at 700 :)
 21. Not to mention BH has homefield advantage :) this will be game 3 at Turner this year ;D ;D
You didn't know? BH played a regressing Dayton team and only lost by 7 so now they are very good. Even though Crosby waxed BH again, they are better than us because their defense got salty. If y'all don't beat Vidor by more than 20 it will be worse because Pirate fans are going to take that as a moral victory and talk about how much heart they have. At least you only have one more year to put up with it though.
What was the Crosby/Dayton score again? Oh and the KWP score that BH held to 80 yards ;D
35-17 with a td called back and one dropped in the wide open. 340 yards allowed on the ground 489 total. Your worse whipping of the year along with your worse defensive performance for the second year in a row. I know y'all were happy to keep us under 50. We're going to beat your head in again next year too. We put up over three times the yards y'all did on Dayton too, just had a bad night. We ain't Dayton though, we don't play y'all close.
