Crosby will be down this year. They were 6-5 last year and got beat in the first round of the playoffs. Like bh they lost almost all theie starters and yes the twins are good but have they been able to beat a dayton team ever. One more thing unless they grow I cant see them doing much after high school. My niece goes to school with them and although their fast I think they would be pushing it to say they are 5"6 daytons qb this year had all the numbers to play at the next level but never got the size.
I love how everyone is going to be down but Dayton ;D You guys just lost your leader in a 3 year starter at QB.....I know, I know you have a super kid waiting in the wings that could even do crap at the JV level (BH WON THAT TOO). keep doubting BH next year we have just as much talent moving up as Dayton. Yes we lost a lot, but with our coaching and support from undlassmen not to mention potential Lee move in's ;) BH will be in the hunt 8) For our new teams moving in believe me we don't know jack about your schools, but can wait to see us all in action ;D All we have now is the numbers and a bunch of fans trying to booste up how good thier team will be next year. You will get used to Dayton they start talking about state the day after thier last game of the season :'(
The Summer Creek Quarterback is the real deal. They will be in the top 2 in football next year.
Welcome back Eagle (Or are we back) hadn't been in a district with yall for 4 years! New Caney and BH had some great Baseball and Softball games when we first came into 4A.

Found this top secret off season shot of the Dayton Hawiian during a line drill against Crosbys top returning Center. [img][Hidden Content]]

Well since Humble is in BH district this year that game will have to be rescheduled! Very disapointed with the BH schedule if it stands! We have to start playing better teams in pre district!!!

Crosby should be there, Summer Creek not sure, BH because of the pretty uniforms and Dayton because its what we do.
True Dat ;D ;D ;D At the end of the day you never know who is going to step up. I know Crosby is returning a lot of speed and Dayton will be stacked as well minus a starting QB and the best kicker EVER ;D BH has to rebuild, but they have a lot of talent to step in plus another year for our QB to just get better.
Our kicker is a Junior this year, he'll be back.
Dang! hasen't he already broken the all time scoring record at Dayton?

I counted 9 but it depends on which way you go I guess. That's not to mention BH who is about 10 minutes in the other direction or Dayton 20 minutes...
BH will pass through Baytown for over half of their district events.
I like our new district, but am going to miss the games with GCM through all sports! I have a niece and nephew at GCM, Hopefully in 2 years we will be in the same district again. -

This could only lead me to believe that the district is not that good.
Summer Creek had something like 17 underclassmen starting last year. Their defense was pretty weak, but make no mistake about how good they are. This school is in perfect storm mode. Because Humble fell into unacceptable taks waters 3 years ago, about 5-6 of Humble's top incoming freshman went to summer creek by legal transfer under peg rules. Combined with the talent that SC drew from redrawing from Atascocita and Humble. They are probably as stacked as they are ever going to be right now, and they have the pieces to pull off some unexpected success. They are very very talented, and very well coached on the offensive side of the ball. They need work defensively, but because they are athletic they do really well in take aways. Sound running game though slows them down by keeping the offense on the sidelines.
Can't wait to see them! BH may fall into that same think with Baytown Lee falling into the unacceptable ratings which means they can go to any school they want next year and BH is CLOSE ;D

Ok after some quick research and throwing in what little logic I have ;D Here is how we placed last year( not sure about 18-4A since it looks like a thre way tie). first number is overall second one is in district 19-4A 1st BH 9-2 & 6-1 2nd Crosby 6-5 & 5-2 3rd Dayton 9-4 & 5-2 6th King 4-6 & 2-5 18-4A 1st Summer Creek 9-2 & 6-1 2nd KW Park 8-3 & 6-1 5th Humble 4-6 & 3-4 6th NC Porter 3-7 & 1-6 7th New Caney 2-8 & 1-6 Of course not really knowing what is returning here is my best guess for next year. 1st Crosby 2nd Summer Creek 3rd Barbers Hill 4th Dayton 5th KW Park 6th Humble 7th King 8th NC Porter 9th New Caney

Humble hired according to sources within the HISD athletic department Offensive coordinator Charles West of Dekaney High School to be head coach of the wildcats. He'll have his work cut out for him, as we will be the youngest we have been since i have been following Wildcat football. We will have talent, but we will be very very young. Porter high school is also on the move up, i was very impressed with that young group of guys. They, unlike New Caney, have plenty of talent. This is a very competitive district, thats very deep. Theirs really not an easy game on the schedule outside of New caney, and maybe King depending on who they hired as a head coach. i really love 4a ball, but the one thing i hate....The crappy stadiums we have to play in. So here is to hoping we play most of the games at Turner.
You got some better stadiums with BH , Dayton and Crosby. Dayton probally holds the most while Crosby's holds the least. They all three have turf though. Not sure about NC or Porter
