Ok maybe a little may be said ;D
 2. Don't know if much will be said on this thread this year. Dayton is playing good and BH is playing good, but after the fumble fest in Nederland last week I don't have a good feeling about this one :-\  BH's D has to play lights out and the Offense has to hold on to the ball and score. Dayton would have to get a case of the fumbles for BH to win in my honest opinion. Good news is that most of our relatives will be officiating the game :o Thank you in advance Uncle Jimmy 8)
 3. I'll throw the first BH post out.  ;D Dayton sucks Purple Sucks Ike Sucks Elkins Suck Tyron's mom ............well............ is  a very nice lady 8)
 4. BH would like to respectfully decline next weeks game ;D Dayton looking tough! :o
I beg your pardon! Santa Fe and Lumberton will both be #1 in the nation before the end of the season ;D

The Eagles score twice in the 4th quarter, but it is too little too late. It's ok to throw logic in every now and then! It would defenitly make you more credible LOL ;D  I would flip that score before its too late 8)
Since I started doing my FEARLESS PREDICTIONS I have learned a few things.  1.  Never pick an HISD team to beat a 19 or 20-4A team.  2.  Upsets seldom happen in 19-4A, but in 20-4A on any given Friday any team can pull of a big win  3.  Picking Dayton to win everygame is usually correct over 80% of the time, and in district play you can even give up about 30 points and still pick the Broncos to win. I know the kids we have playing for varsity and the offensive fire power at Herrera's disposal (especially with Jakari and McBride back).  From talking to my "sources" we have already played the best team in our regular season.  Got to think the Broncos are going to win this one.
Has Jakari or McBride played yet this season?
Why do I get the feeling that is a loaded question?
;D 8)

 21.
BH defense is the key, no doubt.  Specifically our coners and safeties need to have at least 2 interceptions, which convert to points.  We can't allow 7-9 yard passes on third-down.  Linebackers need to knock Herrera into the next county as often as they can catch that little sucker.  After all that, stick fingers in eyes, talk about mamas, knee them when their down, step on their hands, and any other highly legal and very sportsman-like effort we can think of.  ;D
I predict  atleast 4 personal fouls in this game as well and an ejection or 2 8)

I saw bh play on our biweek and there is no way bh wins this game. Im guessing most people on here predicting a close game have not seen both teams play. Brenham fan went out on a limb saying it would b closer than last year considering we won by over 50 I would have to agree
I'm not predicting who I think will win, b/c I haven't seen either team play. but many on here look at records, yards for/against, points for/against during the preseason and don't take into consideration who the opposing team played against. ...and no, I'm not just referring to Dayton fans or BH fans. I realize it's our only current measuring stick, but too much weight is put on it. One's opinion holds a lot more weight if you've physically watched both teams play (this year). Otherwise, it's just 'Smack Talk'! (which is fun, no doubt). Is The Hill for real? The jury is still out...but lookin' good-IMO.  ;D
Well put! I think both teams realize thy have a tuff game on thier hands and it is imposible to compair the two teams with stats. Dayton has a high flyiing quick scoring offense while BH has a stout D and a ball controlling Offense. You will never see BH break 40 and only break 30 points a couple of times this year because the offense isn't about that. We hold teams to low points because we have a good D and the O holds on to the ball soo much with the 3 yards and a cloud of dust system. If Dayton scores 24 before the half then this game will be over IMO. Nederland told us the same thing and thanks to some BH mistakes they got 7 on the board in regulation! The key to the game is if Dayton can stop BH from sucking up so much time on thier Drives! You let us score thier goes 8-10 minutes of the game ;D

Victims of 19-4A Lumberton :'( (BH win) PNG :'( (Crosby win) Nederland :'(  (BH win and Dayton win) Did I leave any sad souls off the list?
Looks like the best team in 20-4A might be BH.
I'm sure they would be if they were in 20-4a.
That's the point I was attempting to make.
With all due respect, Barbers Hill is a middle of the road team at best.  Beating Lumberton this year is no great feat.  Haven't gotten to see Big Ned play yet, but I don't thimk they are bringing the pain this year either.  Get you some of the boys from Central and tell me what you think.  BH can make the playoffs, but they are not the best team in any district...theirs or 20-4a.
Ask them what happened the last time they faced the Jaguars from Beaumont.
Jags won by 3 points and we were on the 20 yard line when our ex coach decided to go for an endzone shot over a field goal ;D Also beating a predicted last place team(Galveston Ball) in there district by 17 isn't much to brag about. Santa Fe is ranked above Ball and we beat them 34-0 while allowing only 56 total yards for the game. If we are middle of the road then you guys are sharing the center lane with us ;D
