Thanks Tex  :) now with my new information I'll pick like this  ;D 1.) Crosby - 7 returning on D that held Dayton to ZERO. Plus one of the 4 returning on O is the best QB in district!!! 2.) Dayton - Good Team / Great Coach + good returns on O and D 3.) BH - Most BH has returned in a while + we have a COACH  ;D 4.) GCM - Should have good Defense , but with 2 returning on O can they score enough??? 5.) C.E. King - Good Return of players 6.) Lee - Not returning Squat, but can still be dangerous IMO 7.) GP - Returning a lot, but just can't compete 8.) N.Forest - If this team ever gets a Coach again they will be a force!
Not so sure about the "not returning squat" Lee returns the best player in the district which is always a good place to start. The Ganders may have a shortage of players, but they have some good athletes. Barbers Hill hasn't had squat since the mid 70's, so they are experts on observing squatless teams.
Easy Panama,  No reason to get your Gander feathers in a bunch ;D Lee is returning ZERO on Offense according to Dave Campbell, so I would define that as SQUAT and return 3 total out of 22 starters. Oh and we haven't won State since the 70's hmmmm When did Lee win State ??? oh yeah the same year Dayton did  ;D ;D ;D
 2.
Well being you put it that way over the last 3 years Dayton has stayed pretty close or did better than DCTF staff picked em being the last team still playing in 19-4A while roundball was happening for the rest-OMG no wonder we're not very good @ BB ;) :o ::)
Or any other sport ;D At least you can hang your hat on football 8) stir stir I'm close to getting into football season form!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 5.
1.  Dayton (DII) 2.  Crosby (DI) 3.  Goose Creek Memorial (DI) 4.  Barbers Hill (DII) 5.  Baytown Lee 6.  Galena Park 7.  Houston C.E. King 8.  Houston North Forest
Thanks Grad! Can't wait to get my copy to see how many is returning for each team. GCM has to rebuild this year and BH starting a new program! Lee could squeeze into 3 or 4 IMO.
 6. BH hires former Kingwood coach From sports staff reports Baytown Sun Published June 8, 2010 David Denny, who led Kingwood High School to the Class 5A state championship, was hired Monday night to take over as baseball coach at Barbers Hill High School. Denny, a member of the University of Texas 1983 national championship team, retired from Kingwood in 2007 after leading the Mustangs to back-to-back state tourney appearances in 2004 and 2005. During his 13 years as assistant and head coach at Kingwood, the Mustangs reached the regional finals five times. As a player, he was named All-American during his years at Texas and drafted three times by the pros before signing with the Philadelphia organization.

 8.
if i may,i would like to put this young mans name down (he  is not a head coach yet) but he will be one day. toby foreman from wo-s has done a outstanding job for his first year as OC and lord LOOK what he has done with there track team
Dude your Avatar is just plain wrong  ;D ;D ;D
 9. All good names! 1.) Stewart - Anyone that can teach folks from Dayton to do anything has to be Great  ;D 2.) Alverez - Great coach made Kirbyville a regional power! 3.) Faircloth - Awesome First year with more to come.
 10. It's impossible to put BH in any spot in the top 10 at this point. One thing for sure is that the coaching factor will be greatly improved, if anyone doubts that then they are mistaken. Talent should also increase this year, so the X factor is will the kids learn the system quick enough be competitive?  What BH lacks in Athletes they have in intelligents & Pride! Buy in will not be a factor either. I can't see BH having a bad year all you have to do is look to the East last year! PNG completely started over with a coach and WON district then went two rounds! I bet no one on this board except a couple of crazy Indians would have bet on that. Playing BH this year will be like playing a whole new team.
 11. Have a happy retirement Coach Stalbaum! I had you as a teacher and a coach my years a BH and you have done a great job for BH!
 12. Anyone got any scouting info. on BH? They are doing spring practice as I understand.
 13. Good picks from BH can't wait to see these three one more time!!!

We'll see how great things are then. I'm just interested to see what happens the first time Gage sits "Superstar Johnny" during the big game. Then he becomes just another idiot coach that does not know how to judge talent.
Dangit I hate to keep hi jacking this HF thread and do apoligize HF Fans. I love when folks get on here and judge how BH is going to react if the new coach doesn't do this or that. Price got the same support that Gage is going to get, but if we are 10 years down the road and not improving then the same will happen. You are making your judgements of what you saw or read after the last couple of years which was 8 years into Prices carear. First 4 years were good ones then at somepoint somebodys head got too big and a pissing match comenced well the boss is always going to win that match. Again I don't care whose fault it was because according to who you talk to it's everyones fault. The important thing is that BH has a new Coach and HF has a new Coach and both of them should do well.
Then you and your girlfrend JODY should have never posted on here. It seems like everytime someone says something positive about him you two yahoos chime in with something negative.
Isn't there a butt somewhere you should be kissing ;D
This has to be true because there are several male posters on here wanting to have his next baby ;D ;D ;D I think Skeeter would make a good mommy 8) hopefully the baby will have prices looks :-\
To keep making statements like this it just shows you are insecure and you have a problem with your manhood. You DO NOT have a clue what RESPECT means. All you and your girlie friend JODY can do is get on bash people who RESPECT Coach Price for what he did for the kids at BH.
You seem to be in the know Skeeter why do they clown him so much? It's gotta be because their kid didn't quarterback or something
Nope  ;D There is a division at BH. There are those that think Mr. Price was the lord and savior and those that think he was an average coach. Those that worship the ground he walks on do not like when he has been criticized in the past and blindly follow him as he does no wrong. Then the Parent, Kids and Board gets blamed for everything that happens on the field. I support BH!! The kids, The parents, The Teachers, The Coaches and The Board. Fact is that these are all paying positions and when the job isn’t getting done regardless of the reason then you should be released. This is exactly what BH did and all of the Price followers have cried foul ever since. Even if we say something nice about price his girl friend’s jump us.  I could care less about what coach we have just get the job done. I hope Price takes HF to state next year and wish him all the luck in the world, but if he doesn’t do well I just hope that HF doesn’t take the blame from his cronies.
 17.
believe it or not, coach gage has proved himself statewide. hope his spring goes well without outside help.  he is more than qualified to evaluate the talent, even if he is from the north. as some say, he has forgotten more than most will ever know. he will make a difference at bh.
Sooooooooooooooooo True :D The man doesn't need to prove his self at BH! BH has never in it's history had a coach with such a resum'e! Does this mean we are state bound NOOOOOO, but I do think that we will finially get to see if BH has athletes or not. I think we do! It may not by D1 talent, but these kids are athletic enough to be competitive! Spring drills are a must this year IMO when implementing a new system, but like PNG I don't think BH will take long to adapt. one thing the BH team seems to have is a high level of intelligence which will make this transistion alot smoother IMO. Can't wait for the season!!

 19. Awesome!! Good move! The new staff will need this time game 1 will be here before you know it :)
 20. Not sure about how the athletics are or have been going at HF, but Coach Price should better the HF athletic program as a whole. Hampshire has some good kids and are willing to play their heart out as I remember the meetings between BH and HF. BH may have gotten the W a lot of times but HF made them earn it each time!! However don't start losing or the Price Crushers will start talking about the lack of athletes in HF! You will find it is never the Coaches fault that you lose a game it will be the lack of Talent, Parents, School Board and Gravity! Good Luck HF
 21. Coach Price's wife better watch out there seems to be an aweful lot of Man Crushes going his direction ;D ;D BH had a hard enough time beating HF with twice the enrollment in 3A! With that said I don't know how he would be the front runner for this spot unless he can do more with less. However I do think Coach Price would improve HF athletics. Rebel change you name to Rebel4Price it would make more sense ;D

(it's likely) How about beating dayton once a decade like crosby? It sounds like the guy will be able to install a good program, I'm curious to see how long he has before the complaints start rolling down the hill.
For me Coach Gage gets a two year bye with no expectations ;D Year three and beyond Playoffs with wins!!!! I have no doubt that Coach Gage can get BH back on track!!! With the experiance that this man brings to BH football along with the current talent comming up and the constant growth in the school district I can't see how this will go wrong!!
I can't believe you are going to let the highest paid coach in the district go 2 years without making the playoffs and not complain..What did you run Price out of town for??Is the talent that bad over there on the Hill and i have seen yaw's super 9th grade team and was not impressed......
YAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNN ;D I would love to answer all of these questions, but I think every Price Crusher ;D will know the answers soon enough Gage Vs. Price there is no comparison ::)

First off I don't believe one thing that Trucked has spewed and will wait to rely on folks that didn't have (As one poster put it )a man crush on Price to provide information. It may have happened and I may not have, but to start your first post with the beginning of "Well you bunch of BH whiners" and then CRY three paragraphs is hilarious; D I have never seen such a bunch of sore losers in my life! Those that are supposed to be here for BH only care that there buddy is no longer in power! BH needed a change sorry you could not see this, but if this thing would have went to the polls for a vote we would have ended up with the same result! This is not the boards fault or the Supers fault, Price has to have some fault in his departure whether you choose to believe it or not. Coach Gage has nothing to fear at BH and will get the same support that Price enjoyed for most of his career at BH, but if 10 years from now BH hasn’t made it past a second round appearance then Gage will fall into the same barrel. Is it Fair? Heck no! Is this what a Coach should expect? If not you should find job at a plant where you can work for 30 years regardless of  what you do because you are a Good Ole Boy. Can someone pass me a tissue please  :'(
What you choose to believe matters not to me. It will come out. All I'm saying is let Gage come in fresh and let HIM make the decisions on who to keep. And as far as a man crush, read back through this thread and see how many times the haters brought up the ex AD's name. That's whats funny, it's as if you guys  have just realized you won't be able to bash the AD in charge anymore but you just can't help yourself. I hope coach Gage is extremely sucessful because he is at BH, unfortunately there is just a lot of baggage that goes with a BH job these days. Now where is that red pen?
Bashing is a word that is thrown out allot ,but in reality if you give an Opinion that is not liked by coach clicks then you are a basher 8) This baggage you speak of is at every school and is no worse at BH. Like I have said before I don't wish for anyone to lose their job especially in these screwed up times, but if they are as good and well respected as most believe then they should have know problem finding a place to work. Goodluck to the past and future adminstration at BH
