Turnovers are the key to winning this game. A few take-aways would help Barbers Hill and the odds of them having (7) turnovers again ain't gonna happen this time around. I hope all the PNG players are as over confident as the guys on this forum, that will work to the advantage of Barbers Hill. Remember PNG had to come from behind in the last minutes of the game to tie up the game on blocked kick to beat a 7-3 Central team that lost to a 4-6 Livingston team, so these guys are giant killers, they can be beat. While PNG had a great year at 10-0, and has every right to be proud of this year, if they get over confident and cocky, they'll have plenty of time to watch Saturday morning cartoons the next day...Ya'll just keep believing these guys are you basic 5-5 team. BH is waiting, Come on down....
People seem to forget we turned the ball over 5 times ourselves during the first game.  BH QB is a very good athlete, he will not be able to scramble like he did in week 0.  Our defense is one of the best in the state and BH will see the progress made from the first game in only three days.
Your defensive numbers are only realitive to your competition, so to say that PNG has one of the best D's in the state is a FALSE statement. I'm sure they are good, but not worthy of the states defenses IMHO
PNG fans do get a little carried away with the superlatives.  That said, Does BH really have any quality wins this year?   Who is the best team BH has beaten?
Kingwood Park...... need I say more?
Your from koontz you have no room to talk yall are horrible you'd be lucky for anyone to even think yall might make it to playoffs
Read the previous posts.... I'm not from "koontz". For a team to have their 5 wins against mediocre teams such as North Forest, Galena Park, Kingwood Park & CE King....  You guys are the last ones to be calling anyone "overrated". Without the 4 team per district playoff rule... you'd be dusting off your basketball shoes and preparing for your upcoming season (which you will be doing anyway after Friday night).   ;)
First off you are overrated there is now way IMO that BH could play a #5 team in the state to a 1 point loss. There are 4 other teams that beat us by more they must be ranked 1-4 then ;D On the other hand BH can't be overated because you would have to be rated first ;D Oh and if I'm not mistaken there have already been State Champions crowned that were 4th place teams in a district if not I know for sure 3rd place teams have. Its going to be a good game guys don't kid yourselves  8)
I played at HF and the one I remember most was "There's no bigger thrill, than drilling the Hill."  Don't know how long ago the person you were talking about graduated from so it could have changed over time from what he told you to what it was when I graduated. BTW, ya'll are going for a record? Is the one you are behind the "How much does OU Suck?" thread? I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the mods come over here and start deleting posts to keep that one at the top .  :D
The thread count this one is creeping up on for 1st is in the Highschool Footbal thread. I don't know hat the all time high is for the board. Oh and you signature video is freaking me out a little ;D

The Barbers Hill football boss said it’s the first time he’s ever coached a playoff game that’s a rematch of an earlier meeting from the same season. Barbers Hill and PN-G, the No. 5-ranked Class 4A team in the state, will play one of five UIL bidistrict playoff games involving area teams Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Stallworth Stadium in Baytown. • Baytown Lee will play Pasadena Memorial Friday at 7 p.m. at Galena Park ISD Stadium. • Goose Creek Memorial lost a flip, so its playoff game against Beaumont Central will be on the Jaguars’ homefield at Zaharias Stadium in Beaumont Friday at 7:30 p.m. • Crosby will take on Nederland Saturday at 2 p.m. at Conroe’s Woodforest Stadium. • Dayton will play Vidor Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Sam Houston State’s Bowers Stadium in Huntsville. Additionally, playoff qualifiers Anahuac and Buna will meet in Anahuac Thursday to play the final District 23-2A game at 6:30 p.m. The game, which has no bearing on playoff seeding, was postponed, because 23-2A has a first-round playoff bye and the two teams did not want a week’s layoff immediately before the playoffs. PN-G, playing its first game under new coach Brandon Faircloth, won its season opener against Barbers Hill 21-20 on Aug. 28. Of course, Price’s Eagles coughed up seven turnovers in their first game with Matthew Viverette at quarterback and a late extra-point miss is all that stopped a fierce fourth-quarter rally short of forcing overtime. Since then, PN-G went on to finish the regular season 10-0, including an incredible 25-22 overtime win over Beaumont Central in last week’s District 20-4A championship game. The Indians blocked an extra point in the game’s waning moments and ran it back to tie game 22-22 and force overtime. The won in double overtime with a field goal. “Hopefully, this will be a good game,” Price said, his team 5-5 for the season and a fourth-place finisher in District 19-4A. “We’re going to have to play well, but we’re looking forward to the game.” This is Price’s ninth playoff team in the past 11 seasons at BH. Both teams have improved markedly since the season opener, but the Eagles were hit hard throughout the year by injuries. “If we’d have won the first game, would we be 10-0 right now?” Price said, repeating an interviewer’s question. “You never know. We’ve been snakebit a couple of times with turnovers in important games. “But the kids aren’t trying to turn it over. We try to be mistake-free.” Price is hopeful the Eagles might get back some injured players for this game. He expects senior receiver Caleb Stork to return after breaking his collarbone early in the season. Running back Andrew McMillan has been practicing after being out with an injured ankle. “We have not had the same starting 22 in any ballgame,” he said. “It’s been kind of an unusual kind of year.”
Is this the same Dave Rogers who wrote for the Port-Arthur newspaper?   If it is then I wouldn't trust what he writes in regards to the comments made by the individuals he is interviewing.  He always mis-quoted people here in the Golden Triangle. After reading this thru I don't sense anything wrong with the comments.  What do you want said?   I hope it is going to be a good game, I also hope it is a well played game.   Seems your coach is a classy guy.   Seems to have respect of people at PNG.   Allowing them to wear their home jersey's and be the home team.   From what I hear it was part of the deal to get the game at Stallworth in Baytown.  After googling the info, looks like the stadium is less than 12 miles from your HS.  Might as well be a home game for BH. If BH had turf you could have flipped home and home.  Why doesn't BH have turf?  Of all the schools in this area, one would think BH would have been the 1st to get it. Good luck to both teams.
It's not just this article but most. I think he spends too much time being politically correct than backing his team. I wouldn't want to go into a game that my coach thinks that we might win! Weather it is a lost hope to win the game you shouldn't project that to your fans or players. Him saying "Hopefully this will be a good game" lacks confidence to me, but that is only one perspective and maybe I read to far into things ;D I'm sure the reporter can miss qoute, but he also interviews all of the coaches and I don't see that coming from everywhere. Price is a good guy and his integrity or class has never been in question with me. I've never been a fan of politics I would assume have a Barbay, Hooks or Stewart who tells it like it is ;D And Why BH don't have turf , is according to what i've heard can't get approval from the schooll. Price has requested it several times that i have been told, but it got shot down. One big reason was the damage the BH due to Hurricans sucked up alot of money. I think it's just a matter of time once the budget allows it.
 5. Is it just me or does Price give poor interviews?  I mean this shows a lot of confidence when your qouted to say. "Hopefully, this will be a good game,” Price said, his team 5-5 for the season and a fourth-place finisher in District 19-4A. “We’re going to have to play well, but we’re looking forward to the game.” And it always seems to be the kids fault, I would fall off my chair if he every took credit for bad calls ::) I don't want to start a Price bash just an observation!

How big the crowd is and how big the Indians are and How the butt whoopin was going to take place! WELL GUESS WHAT PNG GAME ONE WAS WON BY ONE POINT despite playing at your house in front of your purple fans and 7 BH Turnovers! Now take a look at what i said and try to understand that we are not impressed with anything except what happens on the field. Has PNG got better yes , but do you think BH has declined from that game? No team in the state is going to be the same team they were in week zero. Golden Triangle teams try to convince everyone every year of how great they are, but nothing happens :'( They Move Dayton in and then yall had a chance to prove it and BAM Broncos two time champs. they move Livingston in and BAM district champ. STOP LIVING IN THE PAST what was once a great district is now a mediocre one at best.
Exactly how many district championships has BH won in football?
WOW you should do some homework I guess you think BH has not done anything :) If you want to compair history then we can play ;D It's probably close ,but BH Probally has a better winning percentage that PNG for school history! Most are going to say "Well you won all of that in 3A, 2A and 1A" And my answer to that is yes but we were 3A, 2A and 1A ,so that dont float! BH has more tradition and history that most schools the difference is we don't rely on History the time is now and all of that don't mean nothing.
 15.
the following is a serious curiosity question for BH fans.  About how many fans do you expect to show up for your game this week in Baytown?  The only reason I ask is because there is nothing better than having a packed house on both sides to really amp up the atmosphere.  I remember a somewhat decent turnout at PN-G but figured not many wanted to make the drive down.  This one is in Baytown so it's basically a walk for you.  Do you have a strong playoff following?  Here's to hoping there is an insane crowd and lots of noise.  Thanks in advance for your reply and good luck.
BH will not have a following like PNG or most of 20-4A, but they will bring apretty good size one. Plus depending on when GCM  or the other Baytown schools play (Don't know if the 5A's made it)  would exspect Baytown, Dayton , Crosby to be in the stands as well. It should be a good crowd.
 16. Thanks for the kind words and believe me we know that the Indians are going to be good. Going 10-0 no matter what is a great accomplishment and throw in a first year coach and the Indian faithfull should be very happy with what is to come. I'm hoping for a BH win and know it will not be easy, but I don't think it will be impossible either! I'm officially going to stop the smack on my end (40 pages is enough) ,but can't stop everyone else ;D If this is not a good game I will be very disapointed! I do not for a fact if we turn the ball over 7 times we will not be in the game at the end. Everyone have a safe trip to Stallworth

 18. Looks like a split to me! Dayton / Crosby move on while GCM and BH try to win the third game for 19-4A Which I believe either can do if they play mistake free ball.
 19. Crosby wins this one by 2 TD's! I don't think Ned has seen a Defense as good as Crosby's. Yes Crosby died the first two games of the year, but they have turned it around Big Time! Anyone that  can hold Dayton (Which was 20-4A two time Champ by the way) ZERO points has to be good! Go getem Coog's BH is pulling for ya ;D
 20. PNG blows their wad against Central and fall in Baytown to a 5-5 Eagle team! That would be a great title for the Baytown Sun next Sunday ;D All joking aside this is going to be a better game than the PNG faithfull think. Game 1 we heard the same think of how the Indians would win by 3-4 TD's and in the end they should not have even gotten 3-4 TD's from BH! IF BH can hold the ball they can win, but that is a big IF

 24.
There are several aspects to being a RB. And to put it in a way to not degrade anyone lets just say that letting 20 and 25 carry the ball has kept 11 healthy because if not for those two his backside would be bruised really bad as much as we pass. 34 was given every opportunity to display his skills and 20 just flat beat him out and earned his spot. And 25 has ran like a beast as of late. And they are not the biggest back in the game but they hit the hole really quick and both will bury a helmet in your chest if given the chance.
I don't have anything against the other two RB's they are doing a good job I just haven't seen Bradford get as many snaps in a game as either of them. I would love to see one game with Bradford getting the snaps the whole game. Running straigt up should and can be corrected I don't think Bradford is un teachable?? He was our back last year and it just seems if he is taught the correct techniques he could Earl Campbell somebodys ARSE ;D I have watched Kade come in and get 10-15 yards then sat down on the bench?? It just seems wierd thats all.
