I have tried to see who they have played and couldn't find any Info. Should be a good week to try some new things and a kids at positions to prep for district. Anything less than a blow out should have BH thinking how to adjust for the coming weeks IMO.

You must be kidding me! BH will not finish #2 in 19-4A. I was there on friday and BH could not defend the Sisters of Charity. Take off the "Mecca" shades and be for real. You guys will struggle to finish #4 at best. What is your order of finish for 19-4A? Before the season I would complete agree with your assesment , but things are changing ;D Lumberton was the district co champ of their district last year, so it's not like they are GCM or nothing ;D I though Crosby would be #2 but after Ennis (I know they are a great team) put in the the cheerleaders after the half because they were tired of scoring and then PNG (BH lost by1) put a Golden Triangle Arse whoopin on them I can see Crosby at the four spot. CE King still looks good ,but not unbeatable! BH at #2 is not a strech at this point with or without the shades. Top four as I see um. 1.) Dayton (Duh!) 2.) C.E King (Could be 3) 3.) BH (Could be 2) 4.) Crosby (Maybe) 1. Dayton - clear favorites, not sure they are as good as last year, but it's theirs until proven otherwise. 2. CE King - strong showing so far lots of skill position talent. 3. Crosby - not as bad as they have played, Flannigan will get them in the right direction. 4. GCM- you guys play Pearland Dawson and we'll compare notes. Young secondary needs to step up or this is a moot argument. Just stating the facts! I wasn't blaming the refs they called and excellant game all night, but that one call was a killer for BH. BH lost this game the Refs didn't lose the game for BH!

WOW Congrats to PNG!! I thought Crosby was supposed to be good this year, but it looks like they have a long way to go!

Just got back from the game and it was a good one as expected. Lumberton played flawless football and the Eagles had a much better game tonight even though we had two picks. I hate blaming refs ,but they blew a call tonight that ended up giving the Raiders a 1st and goal instead of a turn over on downs with BH trailing by 6. instead Lumberton went up to put the game out of reach!! The call was a late pass interferance flag when the ball was uncatchable!! Anyway if you weren't there then it is hard to explain. Refs don't make you lose a game ,but they made it a lot harder to win one in this instance. Raders looked good though the QB is a good athlete and we had a heck of a time tackling him. The Eagles are still improving and at this rate they should do well in District!! Congrats to Lumberton on a well played game your fans packed our stands and they played a good clean game. Good luck the rest of your season and I hope all the Raider fans make it home safe and sound.

You know you guys keep harping on the fact that PNG did not pack the house last year in BH, but you do realize that PN and Groves were going under a mandatory evacuation from Hurricane Gustav the next day right? I know of a lot of folks that didn't make the trip because they either had to work in Hurricane prep or were making arrangements for evacuation on Saturday. No Harping just defending ;D We know our visitor side is small, but the constant reminders are nice : I'm aware of the situation, but all that we heard last year before the PNG game was how they were going to have to shut down I-10 and place chairs in the rice fields behind the stadium due to the PNG migration across the trinity ;D

Lumberton may fill the stands ,but PNG didn't come close! I alway here that PNG was sitting on our side, but if they did I have know idea why because there was plenty of room on the visitor side. I did however go to that Smiley/Lumberton game and they had our home side busting at the seems, so Bring those fans Lumberton if we run out of room you can come to our side, just don't sit in the seats with the backs ;D Those are OURS ;D. Score board is a huge improvement for those that haven't seen it! OF course they could have thrown a jumbo tron in it, but maybe that will come ;D Goodluck to the Eagles I know you can win this game!! For the lumberton fans have a save trip and enjoy the game! One thing we do have on the vistor side is Parking ;D

Lumberton won 24-7 last year and both teams return about the same. Difference this year is that the Eagles are home and this team seems a lot more confiedent than last years team at this time. Just as the folks predicted a PNG blow out last week (IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN)! This is going to be a close game that will be controlled by both defenses. If BH limits their turnovers then they win if not they will be playing catch up all night. Either way this is a one TD game 8)

Ok I will be the first to predict a BH victory ;D I think we will play lumberton tough and with a big home crowd these Eagles will soar!!! BH 28 Lumberion 21

I think this was a typical first game , both teams made mistakes and they will correct them as the season goes on. It's tough to tell at this point if BH just has a really good defense or if PNG doesn't have a good Offense and visa versa. Next game should give both sides a better understanding of where they sit. PNG will face a good Crosby team with a very talented QB while BH will be tested against a good Lumberton squad. Now for BH, Someone metioned the secondary for PNG and I think BH's secondary looked really good! In the past couple of years that has been a huge weak point on the BH D! This D line looked solid and everyone was swarming to the ball! #40 was all over the place #32 looked good too! On O Viverette (SP) Defenitly is a tough kid and has a pretty good arm! once he adapts to being a QB at the Varsity level and adjust to the speed of the other teams secondary the completions will come! Carter Smith can flat out fly I would love to see him in some slants where he could get some open field after the catch! #81 look good to these two are going to be lighting up the board this year! I'm still a Kade Bradford fan in the back field! His size and strenght as well as his speed should get him more touches through out the season. #20 did good in the back field as well, but I would like to see him go outside more with a lead blocker Oh and PNG the facilities were fantastic! Any idea on the attendance from last night? Yall's side looked pretty full and from what I could see it looked like we brought some folks too!

Dito ;D The Eagles did a good job on D tonight! Offense had a lot of turn overs ,but that can be correct with some experiance. Play calling looked more aggresive than what I remembered from last year! Eagles came to win tonight ,but came up short Next game is going to be a tough one at home against lumberton let this one go and get ready for the next one. PNG has a lot of work to do as well on Offense they did start moving the ball better in the second half though! Goodluck to PNG hope the rest of your season is a good one! Eagles keep up the intensity you guys are going to be fine.
