  1. Both teams had a lot of class tonight and played their hearts out. I met several PNG fans tonight and everyone of them i spoke to were great! PNG has a great tradition and I'm also glad that we are scheduled to play each other!! Again Good luck PNG! Crosby game next week doesn't get any easier they should have a good team this year.
  2. Coulda shoulda woulda. I don't think PNG would have pitched a shut out regaurdless if they held the ball or not. neither team dominated the other BH shoulda Coulda Woulda won the game with some breaks as well.
  3. Congrats PNG on a hard fought game!! As predicted PNG came with the fans, but didn't out do the BH faithfull as BH clearly won the battle of the fans ;D But PNG won the battle of the game and that is what counts. Both teams looked a little shaky tonight, but will improve as the year goes on!!! PNG had some costly fumbles whil BH had some costly interceptions. BH coaches again began play a chess game instead of buckling down and gutting out some calls. Twice in the forth quarter BH had a fourth and inches and we chose to punt. Field position or not you HAVE to go for those!! Anyway that is my stand coaching for the day ;D Goodluck to the Indians hope all of your fans have a safe return and a great year!!!
  4. Good idea BHFAN. The purples are really looking to stir the place up. My game day clothing must have shrunk over the past year though. It seems to get tighter year after year. Dang Women always cleaning our clothes in to hot of water ;D
  5. I'm not a mom ,but I've been called a MUTHA ;D I'm ready to yell my head off and kick the year off right!!!! Go getem EAGLES if you need some support just look to the sea of BLUE AND WHITE we have your back!!!!!!!! 8)

  7. I know they are the Patriots and school colors are Black and Red.
  8. I don't care how bad Pasedena may be that is still impressive for a freshman through Junior first year program! 19-4A is going to become very competitive in the next couple of years
  9. BH 9th Grade White 6 PN-G 6 BH 9th Blue 16 PN-G 28 BH JV 6 PN-G 7
  10. So how is the PNG JV and Freshman? I hear that BH has a good Freshman class not for sure about the JV.
  11. Stadium seats 5,500... Home stands hold around 4,500, maybe a little more. That means visitor stands hold less than 1,000 PN-G brings at least 3,000, plus the band and drill team. There will be more PN-G fans standing than seating. Could be a record crowd at Barbers Hill for their stadium. Attention Barbers Hill... When PN-G played Dayton last year, there were PN-G fans in the stands before 3 PM. Barbers Hill better be ready for a huge crowd Friday. Alot of folks a BH may not be aware of the crowd that PNG brings! I have been to several PNG games including the 99' Dome game and it is absoulutly awesome how much the comunity backs their INDIANS!!! I'm hoping for a good game! BH should pack the stands as well!!! I have a picture of the crowd from that game at home. I'll post it later. Here is a youtube link also from the game. This video still gives me chills. [Hidden Content] Hey do you remember the racket that the Stephenville fans were making with their propane tanks and ball bearings? They didn't have near the crowd PNG had ,but that noise maker they made was the equalizer
  12. PNG isn't that good and BH isn't that Bad. I think the game will be a lot closer that that! By "Fearless" does that me un informed ;D
  13. Thats all that they need! They have the Size, Speed, Coaching and an enrollment of 2000 plus!!! They are going to be good
  14. Article from the Chronicle. North forest an an OL that is 6'8" and close to 400 lbs!!!! Better keep an eye on this team North Forest Article and Video (Click Here)

  19. Broncs ready for Bay City opener By Jerry Michalsky Contributor Published August 25, 2008 DAYTON — Rain forced school officials to push back Thursday’s scheduled scrimmage between Dayton and Lumberton to a Saturday morning kickoff. Even though it was hot and the sun was out Saturday, it probably looked to the Raiders like it was still raining as Dayton showed why they are state ranked. The Broncos rained down a 41-7 beating on Lumberton. “We played pretty good on the defensive side,†Dayton head coach Jerry Stewart said. “We need to watch the film and make some adjustments, but I thought we played pretty well defensively.†It was Lumberton’s Raiders who gave the Broncos their only district loss last year with an 8-7 victory in Lumberton. That would be the last loss for Dayton before putting together a 10-game winning streak that extended to the state semifinals and a loss to eventual state champ Lake Travis. Cody Green and A.J. Dugat showed Saturday why they are one of the most potent quarterback-receiver combos in the state, and they did it in only a half of football. The two hooked up for two scores and 179 yards in receptions. The only blemish for the first-team offense was on its opening possession, a three-and-out. The Dayton defense then recorded the first of seven sacks to force the Raiders to punt the ball back to the Broncos. Dayton scored on its next five possessions. “I thought offensively we played pretty well,†said Stewart. “Cody and A.J. looked like they were in mid-season form today. “We wanted to get all of our kids on tape today and we accomplished what we wanted, too.†Green ran 61 yards on the next play after the punt to give Dayton a 7-0 lead. On the next series, Green and Dugat connected for 43 yards down to the Lumberton 15-yard line and then two plays later the duo connected on a 12-yard touchdown pass to make it 14-0. Evan Brown recovered a fumble on the first Raider offensive play and Dayton was in business again. On the next play it was the Green-to-Dugat combo hitting from 36 yards out and another score. Lumberton followed with its only significant drive of the day and marched 70 yards for a score. The Broncos quickly answered as Green hit Payton Ploch from 34 yards out with 9:22 left in the second quarter. Green hit Dugat for a 40-yard pass play down to the Lumberton three-yard line. From there, Green tossed to Terry Asson to make it 35-7. The scoring ended late in the third quarter as Zach Crowder hit Ploch from 65 yards out for the final score of the game. The Broncos open the season at home Friday against Bay City. “They have a rich tradition of winning down there,†Stewart said. “They have a new coach and I am sure they will come here well prepared.†Bay City welcomes back 11 starters from last year with eight of them on the defensive side of the ball. Leading the charge will be linebacker Iris Norris, all-district a season ago with 102 tackles.

  22. The Lobos are going to be a handfull for anyteam this year and I hope BH can make it a game. The visitor side a BH will be packed ,so I would suggest all the PNG fans to leave early so you are not leaning on a fence all night. SHould be a great 1st game with a playoff type atmosphere. Both teams have holes to fill! Win or loose it will still be a pleasure to watch these two fine programs play!
  23. Thanks for the updates Coop! BH sounded a lot better this week against a 5A playoff squad! one week make a ton of difference i guess ??? I hope Mcdonald is a Sophomore as well ;D THe real games start next week I can't wait till friday.
  24. Anyone goto the BH scrimmage??I was out and about all day and showed up at Pasadena Memorials field at 7:00 and Clear Creak was scrimmaging someone!!!!! Did the scrimmage move move ???
  25. The worst one that I have attended was a play off game in 2000 or 2001. It Was BH against Orangefield in the bi district round of the playoffs and the location was Bridge City. I think the game time temperature was around 30 degrees with about a 20 MPH wind from the north If that wasn't bad enough it began to sleet/rain mix at half time! I was not dressed for this weather and froze my butt off the entire game!! I felt worse for the Orangefield fans and players as the final score was 55-0 BH (I think) Any Orangefield folks remimber or attend this game!!
