Does anyone know if this is going to be televised? Last year I think Fox South West picked it up. -

I got an E-mail to re order Monday and put in my order . According to the web site it will be available mid June ,but more likely July 1st. -
PS. Its Barbers Hill not Hull When BH played them last year I thought they looked pretty good and thought they would get a playoff spot. Then Rita came and screwed up all of the schedules!! Good luck to the Pirates.

BC/Cameron Yoe..2 out 3 Series Starting Thur..
BHFAN replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Wow that was fast! Does that mean BC lost the flip? -
Nope ,But Ive seen BC play. My assumptions are due to what I have seen of BC in the BH seris. BH was a second place team in district and no where near state type baseball. Huffman in my opinion would have played BC well. Huffman gets swept by Hudson then Yoe beats them!!!!! That side of the bracket in region three was tough and a lot harder than what BC has went through. Again I hope the Cardinals roll and bring home the title. Just my opinion, although not the most popular one
-
I'm backing the Cardinals, so don't get me wrong but I think Yoe will win if it's a series.

This could mean that historically WOS was really good or their competition wasn't. Maybe a combo of both -

BC/Columbus Playoff Info...1 Gamer Thursday
BHFAN replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Found a thread on the Downlow that contains a little info. on Columbus. They sound a little like BH this year to me. "Have seen them play a few times this year, including their win over Hutto on Saturday. They really don't have a "great" anything. They have a lineup of really scrappy guys who just go at you. They play with a lot of confidence and they put the ball in play. Defensively they're average. Janak is their best pitcher. What he may lack in tools he makes up for in smarts and determination. He's a really cocky kind of bulldog on the mound, the kind of kid that just doesn't give in. Unless BC has a real stopper to throw at them, the Columbus version of the Cardinals should give them all they want. Columbus was first in 20AAA in a year when the district was not real strong, but I still think their a formidable opponent. Coach Gonzales always seems to have them ready. Both teams have great fan support, so this should be an exciting event." -
Agreed we are in a weak district along with a weak reagion IMHO. I'm not saying all of the teams in 4A region III are terrible ,so dont mis qoute me I just don't think they compair to the Dallas area Region II teams.
