  1. 2006 Barbers Hill Eagles Football Schedule Aug. 19 @ WO-S (Scrimmage) Aug. 25 Lumberton (Scrimmage) Sept. 2 Wharton at Pearland (Saturday) Sept. 8 @ Jasper Sept. 15 Bellville Sept. 22 Open Sept. 29 Houston Forest Brook* Oct. 6 @ Crosby* Oct. 13 New Caney* (Homecoming) Oct. 20 @ Houston Smiley* Oct. 27 Huffman* Nov. 3 C.E. King* Nov. 10 @ Galena Park*
  2. Barbers Hill defeated Palacios 12-2 in 5 innings in the Hitchcock Invitational Tournament. BH advances to play Danbury. Winning Pitcher: Chase Barrera Leading hitters: Cameron Campbell 3-3 with Hr., Derek Hulsey 3-4
  3. 4 teams or 3 make no difference if nothing else like someone has said it makes the Div I teams play the same amount of games as the Div II teams. I would rather see one Champion and increase the amount of classifications like adding a 6A like Oklahoma did. I wasen't that inthused about adding the 3rd team either , but I think it was 2003 when 3rd place Bandera Won the Div II title. I guess you can argue it all different ways but the way to go is on champion per division that way there is no doubt who is actually the champ.
  4. Liberty will be the boss of this district untill another team steps it up. Splendora will also be a player at some point. The Splendora area is growing ,so they will have more talent to choose from as the years progress. Cleveland IMHO could dominate that district under the right coaching, but so far there has not been a coach that can contain all of that talent. Shepard was part of this district about 5 years ago and always hung out at the bottom of the standings, So If they have improved then they could play for a spot also. Overall this district is very week and should be dominated by the neihboring districts!! It all comes in waves as time moves on and if Jasper,Silsbee, WOS & BC (All once 4A) continue to loose numbers they will be the little guys one day.
  5. Boy your not kidding!! I would have never guessed Splendora could knock off HJ. Congrats Splendora!!!!!
  6. They cheated!!!!! Just playing, Congrats Bobcats on your win hope you continue on. Best of luck!!!! Also Congrats to the BH girls for makeing it as far as you did. Great job girls!!!
  7. Bridge City has a pretty good following and they make some noise. BC has been the best fans that BH has played. Outside of that PNG probally owns the title for the loudest fans. I've been to a couple of PNG games the most memorable one was (Don't remeber the year) when PNG played Stephenville in the Dome years back. I'll never forget the sea of Purple at the dome that night, they filled up their side of the dome all the way up through the rainbow seats. When they started the tomahawk chant the dome was rocking!!!! Our fans on the other hand are seperated into two groups you have the home fans and then the travel fans. The home fans although mixed with the travel fans are lame in my opinon. Alot of people show up, but most are trying to improve their political relations with the community! I don't think they even watch the game. The travel fans however are loud and proud! If the game is a tight one everyone leaves witha hoarse throat that night
  8. Got another BH person on here. Welcome BHkrystal06!!!!
  9. Didn't get to see it,but it looks like the Eagles put up a hell of a fight!! Forest Brook: Johnny Yates 17, DeMarcus Jones 12 (Forest Brook vs Bmt. Central, Tues) Barbers Hill: Mason Fisher 25, Adam Aycock 16 (Bye, Plays winner of Crocket-Coldspring)
  10. She dropped 26 , so you were close. BH's Samantha Hardin dropped 28.
  11. Good job Girls here is some stats from the game. BH Leading scorers: Samantha Hardin 28, Traci Sandel 11 Kirbyville: Denetra Kellum 26
  12. Agreed Leave Mason where he is. Both Pattons in the Backfield would be pretty awesome!!!
  13. We can! As long as our football coach isn't calling the plays Seriuosly though BH girls have been up and down all year. The Eagles have some good players, but it seems our District isn't as strong as I once thought with Huffman bowing out so soon. Come on Girls beat K-ville! Somebody has to 8)
  14. Final standings are 1.) BH 2.) Cleveland 3.) Slendora Tough break for the Falcons in b-ball this year. I was hoping yall would get in.
  15. Am I missing something, but isn't this the same BC team that has competed with WOS pretty good two years straight but has just came up short. The same BC team that shut out Jasper in the playoffs? I don't know how much BC is returning this year, but I do think they have reserved the right to be labeled a top competidor in this disrtict. This is going to be a very compettive district and I would be suprised if anyone gueses the out come correctly. Here is my guess of the top three for what it's worth. 1.) WOS - Top dog untill de throwned 2.) BC - Could take district if thing fall their way 3.) Jasper - Will fight it out with Silsbee for a playoff spot. There is no telling though who will come out on top. I do think that no one will go through this district undefeated there are too many good teams. Good luck guys this is going to be a good district to watch football in on friday nights.
  16. Samatha has put up some great numbers this year. BH seems to be coming together as a team at the right time of the year. They began the year with a brand new coach and have really come together since then.
  17. Barbers Hill will fac Kirbyville in Girls B-ball Friday 7:00 P.M Friday at PNG in round 2. K-ville beat Huntington 47-46 to advance. Sweet!! I just joined the JV ranks!!!
