No we got the 8 Th grade going right now. How are the world champs doing?

Wind is keeping both teams grounded. Dayton is playing good defense though along with BH sputtering. Several dropped passes, a pair of holding calls and a dumb call to fake punt on 4 Th and 30. Good news is no personal fouls by BH😃

We win out and we take 3rd unless PNG loses tonight then winning out puts us in 2nd

Settle down skippy you didn’t beat BH handily. BH had a melt down on your field. If you don’t take care of business tonight BH could very well be in the 2 spot.

Geez that was ugly

Herndon for BH is sitting at 660 yards for the season an 13 TDs against much tougher competition. I know C Marshall is a beast, but just an observation

They must not post his stats on MaxPreps. It only shows 454 yards for the season with a 75 YPG average, but he has 11 TD’s

Just went and checked out FBM stats for the year and even with playing a weak schedule their stats don’t show them to be a power. Looks like their QB banks is a one man show.

I’m hoping we don’t end up in the 4 spot, but if we do BH can make a game out of it. PNG was there wake up call last year. BH might put them to sleep😎 of course that’s contingent on which team shows up.

They won’t score. They only scored on us due to our Personal Foul gifts that we provide most games.

Really all I have to do is go back to the BH / Crosby game to see what Crosby did against the worst Defense in the District Vs what we did Vs one of the better Defenses in the district. You scored more that game as well, but wasn’t the better team. (14.2 digging for more stats while implementing the fluke theory) 😃

Wrong again. Starters went back in against KWP for one drive then came back out. Sante Fe the back up QB played with starting offense the 1st half then Holdren played part of the 2 nd half with 2nd O then the 3rd and 4th teamers finished the game. Points don’t determine the best offense as you may have more opportunities due to turnovers, short field etc. BH has the best skill positions in district statistically almost across the board.

Coach should work this game backwards. Start with 4 Th string then increase a string each quarter and have the starters begin the 4th quarter. That would be interesting 👍

Yeah I beg to differ. BH has had plenty of back up play. We had our starters in only through Paetow, PAM & Crosby while the rest of the games backups entered the game 2nd half except for PNG where starting QB and RB was out most of 4 Th quarter. Sante Fe game we had back ups the whole game. Crosby played starters the whole game against Carthage, Manvel & BH. Throw in the fact that we started the year with a whole new coaching staff that arrived mid summer and I’ll take that bet that BH has the best O in district. If we showed any discipline we would be sitting where Crosby is right now.

Good lord if we could just have a middle of the road Defense! You don’t see that very often, best Offense and 2nd worse defense. Can we play PNG again?

Bummer, hopefully this coach will continue to get those athletes roaming the halls back on the field. However wait a couple of years for BH to move up because I don’t miss the Dayton butt whippings we used to take 🙄

Nederland wins, but I think this might be a pretty good game. Last one with the ball wins.
