Reggie Garrett Memorial t-shirts will be available for purchase on Thursday, September 23 from 4-7pm at the home side concession stand of Dan R. Hooks Stadium.  Youth Small, Youth Medium, Youth Large, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large, and Adult XLarge shirts are $10.  Adult 2XLarge, Adult 3XLarge, 4XLarge, and Adult 5XLarge shirts are $12.  Proceeds will benefit the Reggie Garrett Memorial Scholarship Fund.

i just took my son to the field so he could place flowers on the sideline and pay his respects. hes 17 and has a ton of questions. he loved reggie as a friend and teammate. he told stories of how reggie was always positive and was someone he looked up to when the going got tough either at practice or during the game. i guess the old saying is true that you never know what youve got until its gone... he was loved deeply by this community, the coaches, and his teammates. he will be truly and deeply missed.

were totally heartbroken.... my family and i were at the game and my son was on the field when it happened. i have never been around or seen anything like what unfolded tonight at wos. our heart and prayers go out to the garrett family. that young man was a fine student, leader, athlete, and human. i think we can, if nothing else, take comfort that this young mans last few moments were of pure joy and he was doing something he loved to do.  :'( :'( :'( sonny, amy, and bryce #89

the kicker is my son. he did kickoffs and punted last year. this is his first year to attempt fg's and xp's. he came in late this year and "kicker" has been working with him since week 1. hes a good athlete and has a strong leg, he just needs fine tune a few things, adjust, and let the nerves go. hes been working his tail off and will be ready when the coaches give him the nod.

the final was 35-34 friendswood, congrats on the win. its funny though some trying to justify getting the crap kicked out of you be a small 3a team the entire night who the majority of your fans thought you would destroy. like an earlier post stated i think the wos team grew alot last night and i truly feel sorry for any team that steps on the field with them in the future. theyre now battle tested against a big, highly ranked 4a team and came away looking great!
