I think the Bulldogs played excellent considering 7 freakin turnovers and losing their QB. An INT for a TD (be sure and clip Bellow in the process) and another INT in close range, blown coverage on a long pass. Gee, I guess I'm just blind. So we're 2 games into the season with Silsbee blowing out a Houston Davis team with their starters pulled to start the 2nd half and then losing to a solid Diboll team. BC has played 2 winless squads....you're reaching. Anyone doubting Silsbee not being in top three is just plain silly but no need in banging BC for their progress. These kids have been through a pretty big ordeal here of late and are searching for a little respect. There will be some casualties along the way and hopefully we will be fortunate enough to represent our district no matter what the order is. Be careful who you peck on it just might draw blood. GO BIG RED! BC beating Silsbee would not be an upset it would just be another win. WOS is the King for now and that would be an upset. how typical, dont talk about bc but you can run your trap about of? if you guys beat silsbee it would be a huge upset, but lets get serious you guys beating silsbee is a loooooong shot and you beating wos wont happen! heck its never happened! ;D

I completely agree with you Gun. I'm not sure what all of this negative talk about the team is all about, but you guys need to realize that you have a new QB, RB, WR, couple of linemen. New corners, defensive ends... CHILL OUT. We will be fine. It's the second freakin game of the year! We are not going to be mistake free, guys. I see a whole bunch of potential on the field and they will get better every game. The guy who said we are a "one man team" is just nuts... I was very impressed with our QB. He is going to make some mistakes, but for his second varsity start, I thought he did very well. I know some of you wanted to beat LCM 90-0, but LCM is a MUCH, MUCH improved team from years past. We won, we got better, end of story. We have a lot of improving to do, but I saw some flashes of brilliance last night on both sides. I feel like, by the end of the year, this team will be better than last years. Another statement from a Bear fan that I completely agree with is that one of our STARS do not appear to be giving the effort they should be. They may need to realize that a "verbal agreement" is not binding for EITHER side... If he tries to coast through this year he may end up somewhere different... our minds need to be in orange and not in norman.... set him a few quarters/games and get his head right and bring him back to reality!

im not sure why we dont work on the extra points and field goals a little more in the jv games when we have a nice lead.... they have a pretty good kicker/punter on jv!

Like Venom33 says, what has LCM done to show that they can even have a chance at beating a team like WOS. No offense to anyone, but winning a couple of scrimmages doesn't count. Which, by the way, according to another thread the winner hasn't been determined in one of those. Here's how I see it going down, Friday afternoon LCM has a big pep rally and gets all pumped up. Crouch gives a big talk before they take the field Friday night. By 8:00 PM, they are not as pumped because they can't stop WOS from scoring. By 8:30 they are completely heart broken, and it just goes downhill from there. And the night ends with the entire team crawling back to the locker room like little cubs. ***A bear may be bigger and stronger than a mustang, but that doesn't matter one bit if that bear can't catch the mustang.*** I cant understand why a team like WOS that prides itself on playing such a tough preseason schedule would even want to play the Bears when its so evident from this thread that the Bears dont have a chance. : i ask yet again, what have they done?

Offense has a chance to be lethal! i agree.... we still have too many overthrows and dropped passes. reggie needs to learn if its not there tuck it and run or throw it away but dont try a desperation move and turn the ball over. i think the kinks will be worked out....
