i guess the bottom line is the cop was injured due to an assualt(which is a felony) and someone was tased during the altercation. there has to be some sense of respect for authority and the law... two wrongs dont make a right but in some minds they make things even. also, what does this mean "but, what the heck...right?"

One thing for sure is the cop has injuries that he didnt inflict on himself... somebody caused them whether the cop jumped the gun or not he is an authority figure who should be respected. putting your hands on the law is a felony and should be dealt with as such.

So if the student is innocent how did the cop receive his injuries???

as youve probably figured out im a fedor fan, but i really dont get this! what does he gain from this? he wins, so what he murdered a lightweight, but what if he loses.....anybody can be caught.

Aoki (20-4), a standout grappler who's ended 12 of his 20 career wins via submission, last competed in April, when he suffered a 27-second TKO loss to welterweight Hayato Sakurai at DREAM.8. Aoki is 15-2 (with one no-contest) in his past 18 fights.

I Agree with nikespeed's assessment of the situation. some of the witnesses,if this kid is charged, said that there may have been ten seconds before the kid was tased. IN THEIR EYES , the kid seemed to realized what he had done and backed off ,then he was grabbed and tased. THEY ALSO SAID THERE WAS NO FIGHT JUST ALOT OF NAME CALLING AND PROFILING NO PUNCHES THROWN UNTIL THE KID WAS GRABED BY THE THROAT !!! The player whom started this incident and fought if you believe the news report " how stupid now if any of the facts were inaccurate LCM and the police locked themselves in a bad position" the students who fight are charged with assault, have to go in front off "THE JUDGE", and are kicked out of athletics! I agree Carwin seems to have a bright future and I cant wait for Overeem to get signed by somebody! Im not sold on Lesnar,Mir, Couture, or Nog. Lesnar seems to have a bright future as well but I think Nog and Randy have seen their better days. I think GSP is deserving of his spot on P4P if not the #1 spot.

Regardless of if Affliction makes it or not they have the best HW's in the world by far. I wish Nick Diaz could come back to the UFC, hes a beast love him or hate him...

GSP would get my vote for #1 P4P... I'll agree with you, how is that? LOL. I know Fedor is great and beaten some great names but GSP has done it consistently for the last 3 years and only shown signs of getting better. He seems to train better than anyone right now too. Silva is a bad dude, no doubt! I just hope they give him someone that will bang with him and not be scared.

Baseball, you and I will never agree on this... Heres a little info for ya though-- both Fedor and Silva started their careers in 2000, Fedor 29-1-1 and Silva 24-4. Ive told you this in many,many prior posts... broaden your horizon and realize there are better fighters in the world besides what the TUF diluted UFC has to offer. The MMA world DOES NOT begin and end with Dana White and the UFC. I think your problem with Fedor is you dont have a clue who the guys are hes fought nor do you have a clue who Silvas fought before the UFC. I guess you know them by name alone. For you to compare anybody with the exception of Hendo to anyone Fedor has fought is insane! You throw out rankings but you fail to mention Arlovski was #2 in the world and Timmy was in the top ten and both got DESTROYED. For you to say Silva fights top guys but Fedor doesnt shows your total ignorance...

I really hope the next fight for Silva will be GSP or Wandy... He needs someone that will stand and bang with him.

You do realize that when Fedor fought the two former champs Arlovski was ranked #2 in the world and Timmy was in the top 10. You are correct when you say they are former champs for a reason,but they were champs nonetheless and still both ranked in the top 10!

Again, besides Hendo who has Silva fought???? Dont use Franklin, hes been washed up for a while now. If youre the MMA fan you say you are then theres NO WAY you can honestly say Silva has had tougher opponents than Fedor. Silvas last 3 fights have been against guys who havent sniffed the top 10. Fedors last 3 were against 2 FORMER UFC champs who at the time of the fights were either ranked #2 in the world or ranked in the top 5 and Choi.
