I still dont understand what the hold up is concerning the evacuations and closings.... either crap or get off the pot!!!

Im confused... there was such a quick call to evacuate for Gustav and we got NOTHING from it, yet, this cane has ALOT better chance of effecting us greatly and the powers that be are waiting until the last minute to make a decision.Seriously,what are they waiting for????? I hope they keep in mind the other very LARGE counties that will be evacuating with us!

i knew somehow,someway this game would happen!!! it was a wrong decision that was able to be corrected! maybe moody finally saw the light... details, details!

Just curious.... His excuse for backing out of the game was based on some type of concern for his football players. If he flip-flops after making a public statement like that, wouldn't he be saying he has little or no concern for his players? i think there are a few different ways his decision could be viewed. if he decides to stick to not playing the game this decision will be a thorn in his side his entire life. i think he has the opportunity to right this wrong, and he should! i hope everyone calls lcm and expresses their anger and confusion and if this happens i believe we will have a football game saturday...

I think its WAYYYYYY to early to say theyre a one trick pony and that could have easily been said about the UFC in its early days(see Royce Gracie)....Its unfortunate that alot of the dream matchups we true mma fans hope to see will never happen but I think as Affliction grows so too will the different weight classes and talent they will offer. As for the fights, I too enjoyed the final three the most but it was really good to see Vitor Belfort,Lindland, and Babalu back, but then again maybe you and I view this a little differently... I was just extremely happy to see fighters other than the diluted TUF roster the UFC puts on at every PPV.

The show was packed with AWESOME fights and who cares if the production wasnt great I paid to watch great fighters put on great fights and I got exactly what I paid for. Im hoping the Affliction shows will help the UFC huggers understand and realize that there are VERY,VERY talented fighters all over the world who arent in the UFC.

What I told you was we are in the middle of our season and I have no desire to risk my guys while in season,plus we have a few games we have to makeup,but if you recall I said after the season was over we could set something up. Werent you the one complaining of shoulder problems or arm problems or some kind of problem that has kept you from playing, and at 20 and with soooooo much talent shouldnt you be playing college ball or at least juco somewhere??? As far as the field goes, just ask for permission and see if its even possible first then we'll go from there...If you were as courteous as you are mouthy we might actually have something accomplished.

By no means is our pitching staff thin, there are just other "old guys" on here that want to show you "youngsters" how to play ball... Is your team together? Have you secured the field,lights,and umpires?

I wouldnt call asking Huggins to pitch as being desperate... I can promise you his BP pitching and his game pitching are two totally different things! Again, you kiddos have no idea what youre bringing on yourself!

It tells you all you need to know, and no I wouldnt say that about everyone.....I can get on here and huff and puff about this guy went here and that guy went there but that means nothing if they sat the bench and/or sucked. I can tell you for a fact if youve kept up with baseball around the area then you will certainly recognize the majority of my team. Seriously, the only thing to do is meet up and play, or youre more than welcome to come to one of our games before you decide to lead your sheep to slaughter.
