1. The Starting line-up should be: Pittman James Johnson Bradley Brown With Mason, Balbay, Hamilton, and Chapman off the bench! Mason would be my sixth man and Hamilton the seventh.... Brown can be a dynamic point if he works on his player recognition... Noticing how much heat to put on or take off a pass, Noticing who is ready for the pass, and not over dirbbling on the pass opportunities... All are simple fixes.  The main problem is Pittman, we need him to man up and stop playing soft.  He tries not to use too much energy on the offensive end and often leaves himself easily defended by not exploding towards the rim!!  And we need to establish a back-up big for the rotation and I don't like Wangmene!!! He hasn't grown a bit!! Hamilton is the seventh option because he does not understand basketball.. His BBALL IQ is severly low!  We can make a run with that 9-man rotation... Jai is very disappointing! This is my final fixes... Mason and Balbay cannot play at the same time! Pittman needs to get aggressive! James is fine but needs to move more without the ball!  Let him be the three and allow him to post during the game... Most three men cant hold hi! Brown is your PG, right it in stone! Mason is the sixth man and tell him to drive it to the paint at every opportunity!  We need bench scoring! Tell Balbay to shoot hit or miss... You never know how bad of a shooter you are until you shoot! Use Hamilton when he is hot and bench him when he is not! Use Jai, Wangmene, and Hill for fouls!  I miss Ward even more now! Tell Bradely to move without the ball and let him get the ball in rhythm.  On defense he needs to back up a bit and stop reaching! It is OK to do at times but not continuously, sometimes you just need to contain! Ever heard, "I you reach I teach!"
2. Great play Brown... Now we need a TO!
3. Barnes needs to tell JBrown, he is the second option and let him and James do it big!  Everyone else is a role player
4. ow.. That is a hell of a no call.. but we aint go make the shot anyway!
5. UT was lucky to get to ten...  Nobody can make shots at least Brown is shooting...  Nobody else except James is attacking the basket!!! Bradley just can't make his own offense!
6. TMG is turning into the man for that team, and Willie Warren is his side kick!!  The difference from this Teaxas team being mediocre or great is at the charity stripe...  This could easily be a one loss team if they could shoot a free throw!
7. The UConn lost was really suspect if u watched that game! The fouls were call 30 to 15 oin favor of UConn. Their height at all positions really gave us fits too.  When Texas plays its best they can compete with anyone. Syracuse and that 2-3 zone wolud give us fits but I wonder if the pressure on their guards will nulify the issue? On a nuetral floor I think UT competes with the entire Big East. They match up perfectly with every other team.
8. Yeah I here Yates is playing a warm-up game with a National power with a couple of Texas commits!
9. Jacoby Hale - BMT Central - Utah Derrick Hall - BMT Central - Tulsa
10. That Bellaire team is sooooo deep, I hope they can seal the deal!  But duncanville was that deep last year and lost in Regionals!  I probably go and see Bellaire again this weekend, I really like their team.  I say this if PA brings its A game and Bellaire brings its A game Bellaire wins... A and B Bellaire wins a close one... A and C potential upset!  Yes they are that good!
11. Cat we all know Bellaire is the best team (as far a talent) in region III but there is no need to rain on Memorials parade now!  The games still have to be played and Bellaire's coaching is suspect.  This will be a tough region that also includes kingwood, Bush, Dulles, and Elikins (WOW Fort Bend is a grind house!).
12. Yes he is and should be... Once he begins to get it, Willie will look better!! It will take some of the focus off of him... He is a better supporting actor!  But that wont all come together this weekend!
13. Yeah, I heard... He makes them better but the chemistry still needs to be tweeked!
14. The OU game should be Pittman time...Fainally he will be matched up against another center and not a hybrid forward!! I think he will have a big game!
15. Central wins by 15... Come on man this game is in the bag, I am calling out the score early!
16. Memorial should win the game but home court advantage is big in high school!
17. The latest is a trade with the Wiz for Haywood and Butler.  The hold up has been that the Wiz want Scola and the Rockets only want to offer financial relief.  I think it would be a good trade though.  I would hate to lose Scola but you will get a 6'11" back-up Center that is a 10-10 guy.  He would start now in the place of Yao, and make Landry thee starting PF (Anderson & Hayes off the bench)!! Butler would start now and he would be the guy other than Brooks that could make his own shot!  Then Ariza and Battier (bench) would be a never ending defensive strong hold.  Could you imagine Ariza goes to the bench and the offensive player saying, "good finally a break" only to see Battier come to the scorers table? Also, with the high volume of good young bigs that will be available in the draft, they should be able to get another impact big...
18. # 2 is not out of reach but they have Kansas next Monday (must win) and end conference play with 4 of the last six on the road.  All winnable but all tough... Baylor, A&M, OU, and Mizzoiu!!!  They need to go no worst then 3-1 and they could position themselves for a #2 seed!  Win the Big 12 tourny and be a one seed all over again.
19. Thanks Baddog for explaining it to Aggs... Some folk wear blinders and he is the best at it!!! Schrene name should be AggieQuarterHorse!!  He is just antagonizing us, I wont fight back because I might get banned!! LMAO!! I was not crying for the win or giving excuses, I was pointing out the obvious weaknesses.  I believe Texas can play with anyone and lose to anyone! Because you need to be able to contribute in all parts of the game.  I think free throw shooting for this team is the difference between a number 1 seed and a number 5 seed! And the difference between the final four and out in the 32!!!
20. We need him to step up!! We need to have the young guys score!  We need Jacovin to play like he did tonight, didnt shoot well but made it hard to go to the HACK_A_TEXAN defense by staying on the ball with bery few turnovers!  Balbay ius an amazing defender... He shut down a 6'7" man that no one could touch in the first half!
21. ZERO!!!! currently the one that could is an AD!
22. All of Texas' losses could have been wins with better free throw shooting: Lost by 9 to KState and missed 13 free throws.  The 9 points are deceiving after late game fouls and desperation shots taken in the last 2 minutes. Lost by 14 to UCONN missed 7 free throws that would have put them back into the game early.  That way they would not have been taking desperation 3's!! Also the fouls calls were 30-15 giving UCONN the BIG home court advantage! Lost by three to Baylor but missed 12 free throws!!  Nuff said! Teams have even went to hack-a-Texan basketball!  Memphis did what they did in Conference USA with Derrick Rose' team shooting the same percentage.  They lost 1 game in conference that year... But that wont work in the Big 12!!! Shoot bad free throws and you lose winnable games! Unless a miraculous happens we will not make the sweet 16 shooting like this!
23.
What are some of the universities he is considering? Is he going to be able to qualify for Divison I basketball?
NONE!!! He wont qualify for a university anywhere on this planet!!!  But he will got to Junco, play two years, hopefully get it together then he will go Big Time D1!!! This kid has the tools to be better than Jacovin but as of now is no where close!! He doesn't work on his game enough and doesnt have the high basketball IQ!!!  He SHOULD have been better but he has held himself back!
24.

I've seen them this season. I don't think it's the "awe, I've never seen a team like this," I think it's more of how they are winning. I've seen plenty of teams that would beat them. The undefeated Milby team was brought in by Jim Barton and I for our Playoff Preview at the Montagne. They were very, very nervous about that game. Of course Region 3 won several state titles that year, Milby, Kountze and Houston Jones, led by Daniel Gibson. We had them in the year before!
Ya'll got it all wrong. Buna, in the 60's would dominate every team mentioned!!!!  As a 1A school, they would warm up by beating French and BCP!!!  They would dominate teams and win by staggering scores like 12-8, 10-6 and all. Of course, few people could stay awake to witness this mastery of the game, but Buna did have the record for most state titles... .until Snook took it over.
Different kind of basketball!!! Buna would not have a chance!
