Why would the refs have blown the whistle if the pile was moving? I was on the sideline at the goal line and heard no whistle. Strange night ... but a great game. As for the fumbles, I never said they were not forced. But if we had taken the hits and not coughed it up, you don't get two of your scoring drives. Think about it. Good luck to the Jags. Like I said before, there was no quit in either team. I bet those Lumberton scouts were shaking in their seats. ;D Sorry guy if you are honest with yourself the pile was not moving... How long does the runner get to lay on his back ontop of another player before the whistle is blown? The pile had stopped and as he continued to roll after the kids had contain contact the play was dead... But this will be a debate that neither you are I can win... I just think it was a great game!

Hats off to the Vidor kids for showing so much heart. The hitting was vicious and a number of Vidor's players limped off the field.... BUT, those kids came back out and played while limping... And played well!! I just knew a few of them would not come back in after those injuries... But those kids just limped back to the huddle and ran harder... Talking about HEART!!!!! My Jags had every reason to just let them walk in on the last two point conversion... I mean they had not stopped them up the middle all night... Those kids were so tired at the end, and were physically beat. Vidors 5 to 8 yard runs turned into 10 - 15 yard runs and it looked hopeless! Then on the last play we actually win the line of scrimmage and meet the runner in the backfield... Talk about HEART!!!!
