This was the best Central game that I have ever seen... VYoung vs Northshore was the best game (period). All I can say is hats off to them Pirates. Both teams made mistakes to lose the game and both teams made plays to win it. The cloack at the end helped Vidor more than CHS. We scored quick and Vidor was mythotical... The defenses weren't bad in this gane the offenses were just better. The one punt in the game came after a wide open drop of a ball by a receiver. The turnovers Vidor had were forced not given, all came on ig strips. I saw a Vidor player duck a big hit and I saw a Central player duck a big hit. Man I saw great running backs on both teams and the Jags defense had NO answer for the Vidor offense. You guys are debating whether Vidor was in I am debating whather that last fumble was into the endzone which would have made it a touchback and Jags ball!!! I do think the Jags were drawn offsides sometimes by the QB stepping back but mostly e tried to give up the gam,e. You guys had the turnovers we had the penalties... I think the final count was 16/2 on penalities and 0/2 on turnovers. Thank you Jags for your only stoip of tonight, rgight at the end! Vidor you are the real deal, good luck the rest of the way out!!!

What I see is the Stowers teams took a lot of chances on Defense and gave up some big plays... What I see is that 2004 was the worse Central team (1-9) of all time. What I see is that Stowers never really coached a potent offense. What i know is that this is a containment Defense and if Vidor Defense is slow and Jags D is too small, it will be a long night of high scoring football!!!! That will be won by Maroon and Gray!

Vidor fans, what portion of the game do you think is advantage Vidor... Most folk just say we haven't seen a Vidor team like this.. What does that mean? OK my Jags Stregths that are key to the win: Ball security, they just haven't made BIG mistakes in this department this year. LB's - These guys have a nose for the ball and play downhill. RB's - We have two guys with big play ability. Once in they get past the line backers watchout. QB - plays smart and can deliver the ball OL - These kids are not small and they stay on their blocks... Really haven't seen a Central line perform this way in a while. DL - Play good containment for the LBs to make plays. ST - returners are scary good Weakness WR's - Big and physical but tend to drop a few passes K - The place holder and the kicker have not been on the sam page OL - Still needs to improve on pass blocking DL - Not quite big but technique is really good. I think we overcome the weakness and win this game because Vidor can't handle our stregnths!

Central has played against alot of different competition... Not just speed... Memorial has maybe the best overall running game in the area, they are big and strong. Thier Defense was beastly with two All American type DE and LB!!! Funny thing is they are also getting better! Westbrook had a great Oline and gave their QB all day to throw, but they could not run on us.... Westbrook also had a hard hitting Defense. GBall was fast and athletic, cant ay much for defense though! See Central has played a variety of teams with plenty of streg0nths. Vidor fans will be a challenge and I think our boys and coaching staff are up to it. Vidor will the Newby kid be back for this game?
