Central hasn't beat them either and they were common on ou schedual in the 90s... And Brook scored more points in last years scrimmage! I am one Central fan that will admit Brook runs this series and has done it since 1987, even in years where we were in the playoffs and Brook was at home, they won the BMT bowl... I do believe this years team will be a tougher match-up and Brook is not the unbeatable this year. I was also one of those fans who did not lie to myself about last years chances too!!!! Call me a realist before a fan!!! I give my Jags a chance to win this one. Honstly the offense look more potenet than the stats, the Jags constantly had a short field and some dropped balls. This team will improve weekly, the talent is there.

The regional 3-a and 4-a tournament should be held at Ford Park. No parking problems, no heavy traffic for those coming from Houston and surrounding area. That sounds like a new topic!!!

I know Brown will not start this year, I know he will never be a PG, I know all of you under estimate Balbay, I know Brown plays NO defense, and I know with Rick Barnes you must play good D to geyt on the court. Bradley, Balbay, Ward, and Mason all have that over Brown... I think he has more offensive talent than those guys but let's see how it translates!

I don't think it will be a blowout by the Brook, but I also don't know if Central will win. The Jags are better than the final score of Fridays game. For the guy who mentioned the come back, let's be real!!! Central went up 28 - 14 in the third quarter... They sat on the ball in the 4th and nearly gave it away!!! This was their first action and they still played well!!! I have not scene WB but I got some scoop and I believe this will be a good game ending 28-21 someone!!!!

I am proud of Central to say that this was their first game with no scrimages to prepare. The passing game will get better and the running game is wicked... There is alot of explosion and so many formations... Coach Wash is doing a good job. The Central Defense wasn't dominant tonight but they had flashes of greatness. The offense put Memorial in the position to score 21 and the potential tie drive. I think this Central team will give20-4A a hard time as the season goes on. Vidor, Central is not small either. Can't wait to see the improvements next week. Central recievers are way large!! Memorial has some talent on both sides of the ball. I don't know why they did not stick with the back-up QB... He was the better of the two but they kept running a two back sceme, swapping them out. I think that was a mistake. For the most part memorial executed well, but the secondary will be an issue for them. The nose guard doesnt play the run well but the ends and linebackers are mean. They had more big hits thonight than Central. Memorial will get better especially when they choose a QB and stick with him.!!!

Willie Jefferson has been sited on ESPN as being a impact freshman at Baylor... They say he is catching some acrobatic balls. He had 2 rec for 32 yds and a TD at this weeks practice scrimmage. The TD was a one hand, leaning catch that got some "OOHS and AHHs"!
