??? Did Micah Mosley lose his J (Urban vernacular for job)? I did not see any stats from him last weekend... Ususally ESPN will show if a player is injured but they have no info on Mosely! I try to keep up with the local talent... North Texas is in ESPN's Bottom Ten on a weeklyt basis too!

NOBODY on this list could be Brook... Get over mid county, they could not compete. Lumberton is not on this level. They would beat Dayton by at leats two touchdowns. WOS doesn't even belong on the field with the Brook. Earlwick.. Give it a rest, Michaels is as good as advertised. They have a three year starting QB. The best overall player in the are (Garrett). One of the best if not the best coaching staffs. The defense is still better than most in this area out side of Dayton. And, the best WR core in the area.

What do you think Central is? Man you guys are out of site! Lumberton has to beat a 4A opponebt before I give them props. Ozen has to win a game before they cross my mind. So right now I see this. No ;ove here... I picked WB to win, but I will talk trash. Brook is a better team with a better OC and they should have won. I think for us to go a half and play strong was more than I expected us to do against a 5A top 10. Brook D is not all that sufficating, Central runs a ball control offense. The only way they could keep it close was by using up th clock, but you can't do that and commit turnovers. Brook is explosive and I know this. We all know this. But I will trash talk and except ever point for what it was! Central imploded under all the pressure in the second half and began to fade. You can't miss opportunities against a better team and the Jags missed alot. I don't care if the fourth team was in the game, the score is what it is. I think WB has a chance to push for state and I will be on the sideline watching my family... But don't get me wrong... Jag for life!!!!

#33 CM has said every year he's been on the "V" that he was gonna put 200yds on us...and this will be his last chance...but what I think drives our kids is that they really want to beat the Brook! We want the win, and what our D does has not been done in these here parts before! Stowers is running his D again and they looked good against a team that hangs it's hat on throwing the ball! If they can stop the run...and this ain't no slouch...or running back by committee like PA had...this is a "man!" I still like our chances!....Call me stupid or naive! But, I like what we got! I think it will come down to who can limit the big plays, who can hold on to the ball, and who can wrap up! Cowboy I agree with you on our score... But there is no way the Brook does not score more than 14 points!

They did not throw the ball much against Memorial... When they did throw it was a completion. Memorials D is very good, the only way Brook D is that good is if a few players go both ways. And Ozen QB made Brook look very good, I watch the game over and over on DVR. Besides one throw that Garrett broke on perfectly and the Ozen WR did not sheild with his body, the rest of the picks were thrown straight to the WB defenders. Ozen could not run the ball well and Lufkin showed that WB can be run on. I still have yet to see a big time pass rush by the Brook. The reason I picked Central to score 17 is because I believe that C. Louis will throw one of those high passes straight to a Central DB for a touchdownn!!!! Central will score one on their own and kick a 30 yrd field goal when a drive stalls. I don't see the Jags scoring 20 plus on Brook though. CM will score 3 times and Lopez will catch a TD pass. The Central score will come in the third when they will be down 21-7, and they will score because they are forced to pass. This is a REAL rilvary and the losing team has only gotten blown out on years where one of the teams was extremely bad. This is not one of those years. WB by 11!!!! 28-17... But they are better than that!

Brook is ranked higher in the coaches Poll, but the AP poll is a different thing. This area has always been ranked higher in the coaches poll. I trust Coaches more than I trust the Press. Brook plays 3 of the top ten and they looked miles ahead of Lufkin in the game situation scrimmage. So if they beat NS, Katy, & SW they will have no choice but to rank them!

Dayton that always dominated 19-4A and always had trouble beating 20-4A third place team is now a jugernault... How times have changed. 20-4A was strontg now they are average. But let's get one thing straight. Last season Dayton came in 1-3, Lumberton was unproven, Ned lost there QB, PNG was supposed to be trash, the assumed district champion, Central, was already looking very weak. Then it happenned. Alll the playoff teams made it out of the first round. Lumberton Beat Lamarque, and Dayton went to State. All of a sudden the district was strong. You cannot judge the district in the first week. It looked bad last year too!

Having seen both teams perform, I think Central is better prepared than most think. However, it is hard to compete with the best back in TX. I think C. Louis will throw a few INT's because that pass rush is too strong. That will keep us in it. But because of the all out Blitz Michaels will be the difference on offense, on the draw play. Brook has no pass rush but our pass blocking is suspect. Central backs are TO prone so it will be interesting to see how they perform Friday. Like I said it will be a 28 to 17 game because Central's kicker will hit one.

Soulja! It is one thing to have to go watch my nephew play for Brook all season long, but I felt just dirty watching OZEN and BROOK at the same time! If I went to that game I would have to turn in my spots along with my maroon and grey!
