I agree with you on most of your points. I have seen Leeland McElroy play (Even have the last Beaumont Bowl he played in on tape) and Christine is a much better back. Leeland was taller and would just run you over. Christian is a smaller back that uses more finesse and speed, while stiff-arming the competition. I think he's an all-around better RB, IMO! I am just talking about putting up big numbers and helping the team win, being an All-American Back... I am not comparing the two backs!

UT is not even in the running LSU and A&M are the only relevant discussion topics... It will be a while before A&M get another bigtime recruit at RB... He will be the man his entire career there. LSU recruits too well to put all of you rocks in that bucket!

NED and PNG have set the standards for this division... Central and Ozen are new to it. Everybody left has not had any consistancy in performance (LCM, TJ, Lincoln) and some have been irrelevant (Lumberton, Vidor (which is fairly new to the district)). So this is PNG and NEDS district until someone else consistantly wins this district for 10 plus years... So WHAT!!! Play to win and knock the big kid off the jungle gym.... This is competition baby you got to be the bully to be recognized.

I wasn't bashing the kid or his parents... But it is one thing to try an get your kids to do something you have no idea about and having a kid that comes from a rich college background. It's is difficult to teach your kids about something you weren't apart of. Then he has PA pulling at his heels trying to drag him down. I was commenting on his environment... Example... All the things my parents said to me about college was tottally irrelevant and untrue (because you can go to college and still be a bum, it depends on the degree)... I put research into finding out more and that is what pushed me to college. On the other hand I have a friend that is a 6th generation UT grad. All that knowledge and experience is what he grew up seeing. So he knew exactly what college had in store for him, and what majors paid good income). Last example, my parents told me get a college degree and you will be successful, untrue. Most Black /Low Income kids that go to college, use financial aide(loans), get the easiest degree, and then don'yt even make enough money to pay those loans back while concurrently paying for room and board and transportation (If they even find a job). Then they wind up with bad credit and struggling the rest of their life. A college degree is not the cure all, the appropiate degree is! That is the difference between a having college parents and having non-college parents. All JBrown sees in PA is the streets and that mantality. He is blind to anything else and his parents mere words don't budge him or make him care about anything else. Only foolish street kids think college is irrelevant, toughness is better intellegence, respect is better than education, and making babies is better than being a father. I can see his parents TRIED... That is why they sent him to Kelly (hoping to take him out of the element), but he did not want to see or be part of anything else because all he knew his entire life is PA. I am not saying that some kids don't get out... But the majority don't!

Mark my word, I say this now, that Central will have at least two players on that first team defense by the end of the season!

I choose A&M because Goodson will be gone at least by next year. One red-shirt year and Christioan will have the Job... They have NO one like him. Stephens wasn't the recruit that Michaels is now... He will beat him out. LSU has already recieved commitments from two top 10 backs in this years class. CM will be the third. I am not saying he isn't better than them both but there is no way all of those backs won't all push for PT over the next 4 yrs. I am a UT fan so it is hard to say A&M but Christhian will be there next Leeland McElroy. [Hidden Content]

You put a lot of thought into that post didn't you? yeah i sure did. and from my knowledge i believe Dayton hasn't beaten Bay City yet since Stewart's been there. and if yall still are still prasing Dayton as gods yall might start the season off 0-2, because Dayton plays Friendswood in week 1. and never have beaten them also. So yeah we will see It doesn't matter who beats them if they run up the score on you!

Do you know where this kid is from? It is less likely about parents playing or not... This kid parents may have not even gone to college. I am a first generation college kid, pretty sure Jacovin is too!

I know it kills some of you guys that lumberton had a great season last year, and the thought of them repeating disturbs you! it must have been bad for you last year, man, relax, take something! Marcus Malbrough (WB), Sean Weatherspoon (Jasper), and Tommy Chavis (WOS), Glibert Moye(JAS) are at Mizzou Franklin (Flap) Wallace (OZ) is at Iowa State Dravannti Johnson (NED), Ben Wells (OZ), Deon Beasley (WOS), Earl Tomas (WOS), and Kheeston Randle (OZ) are at Texas too Billy Chavis (WB) and Red Bryant (JAS) at A&M Michael Williams (WB) at Baylor Donnie Corona (KELLY) at Texas Tech Danny Gorrer (MEM) is at A&M Are our kids in any other conference? Were there any in the Big 12 I missed? If the answer to either question is yes this is the ROLL CALL!!! Where are our young men?

LHSALLZONE great humble and real post... I can say you are a class act... OK Dayton is good we all knew they would be. Lumberton was a cloud that is now a clear sky. I don't beleive that they are rock bottom, but like I said last year I want to see some longevity out of them before they are crowned contenders. As for district, this is a new year and I don't believe that Dayton is 5 touchdowns better than everyone in this district. #2 in the State yes but based on L-Towns performance you are ctrowning the entire district un-competitive by saying you will still win this district.

With the season the Jags had last year I think the polls had them in the bottom half of the district. In that we Central is very underrated. I think there is the possibility that Central wins district. OVERATED by far is the L-Town!

AND and this is a BIG AND... I keep trying to tell you all PLEASE don't fall for the hype... Lumberton SHOULD NOT be listed in anybodies top nothing!!!!! They will NOT and that is a BIG NOT be one of the top five teams in district this year. They WILL have a LOSING record!

That was pretty funny... But straight up head-to-head match, I don't think Dayton would have a chance.. BUT in 4A they may go futher than Brook in 5A... So I "MAY" and that is a BIG "MAY" understand that thought pattern!
