No way big baby is playing center in this league (He will be a lifetime Back-Up)... He is 6'8" with no explosiveness, and can't defend long or quick players... He could not defend the other centers/forwards in the east, ie. Bosh, Howard, Wallace, Ilgauskas, Jamison, Okafor, Curry, Randolph, Gooden, J. Oneal, Thorton... Perk needs to watch out for free agents and young athletic draft pics because he is the weakest link... Perk needs to get more agressive on the block with rebounding and going back up strong... His Defense is decent just needs to keep his intensity up on the court.

I feel sorry for anyone who did not see Vince Young vs. Northshore 2002 playoffs. Northshore was number 2 in the state and Vince could outscore anyone... This game final score was 63 - 61 Madison. This game had five 60+ yard runs... NS had a sick tail back (too bad he could not stay in school). Vince threw two 60+ yard TD's, got a pick while playing safety and folded(tackled) the qb on a sneak, and won the game on a 15 yd scramble... Madison band played the entire second half. The entire stadium was crimson(NS) and baby blue(Mad). I mean the DOME was packed. It would take alot to top this game.... The only negative was the Defense was missing the entire game!

I can care less about who wins but THAT is a bold prediction for a team that hasn't looked CHAMPIONSHIP. They do have the Kobe-Factor but KG wont play as bad three games in a row. And I believe Boston is one good KG game away from winninhg it all! Peirce and Allen are on fire...

They may have enough talent to give Lamar U a push come openning day. It will be good to have a number of athletic events to go to... Not jut LU and Highschool... JC ball is pretty fun when you attract good players. The thing that most don't know is that some above average kids don't qualify for University sports even though they may be more talented, and it is fun to see them get a chance!
