What kind of post was that??? :-\ since district started my Rangers have been getting beat regularly, just happy to see they won against a good team...i hadn't seen the standings and Lee had only won 2 games which was shocking to me considering the talent they normally have in football... They did not beat a good team... They beat a team without its PG and best player;and without a post starter.... Good job Sterling but this was a fluke win!

Yeah I knew someone saw how Gulley was getting murdered... He stayed on the floor last night and deserved at least one of the and-1 opportunities but it would not have changed the outcome of the game... He ended up with 14 pts. The only issue I had with Rice last night was the 1-3-1 defense that he use in the second half... He went to it right before halftime and continued it in the second half... The issue I had is that he put the 5'7" (peculiar to say the least) guard under the basket in the 1-3-1 and as soon as Boutte saw it his eyes got really BIG!!! That is when the dunking onslaught that soulja was refering to began... Great interior passing and great job noticing and exploiting the weakness Boutte! But what beat Central even more was the guard play... Ours were Turnover prone from the beginning of the game starting with the D. Frank steal on an arrant pass on the second posession of the game. The 6'8" freshman (the only big on the Jag's bench) is not ready for varsity ball.. He missed two key passes and blew a lay-up when Central was only down by 8.... looked up again and they were down by 14 pts....

So you mean to tell me you have never seen a "natural" athlete who never had to try and do anything beat out a kid who worked his tail off and just didn't get much better? Cause if you haven't ever seen that then you don't watch many high school sports. No what I am saying is that TT being a duel sport guy will not be able to lend the time it takes to be the best in either sport... I am not saying he could not be good... Just not at both sports to a kid that only concentrates on one!!!!!! College is different from high school and it take a certain amount of dedication to perfect the game at that level!

You can ask the real Dickie Vital about BJ.... He constantly praised this kid all the way to the pros... BJ was one of the quickest guards ever to play the game... JB though elusive is not that quick... JB seems more of a scorer and shooter but BJ could light it up anytime... BJ is a true PG and floor leader with great vision... JB is a scoring PG that has great vision! BJ is the man and will always be the man, JB is standing somewhere close to him... BJ played with a lot of passion and in high school would have never let his attitude take-away the court.... BJ is a legend... JB is a great player.... BIG difference!

He could walk on but he would be putting a lucrative football career in jeopardy!! And the fact that most big schools only have 2 or 3 walk-ons doesn't make his chances good.... And the fact that those two or three walk-ons are putting thier ALL into bball (not two sports) they probally would beat him out!

Get it right!! I watched Tramain and the kid is special.... in football!!! JCovain has BBall skillz that he doesn't fully exploit because of his personnality.... But just watch him move... Its almost silky... TT is not silky... JB though he highly p!sses me off is a BBALL player and is better than TT.

Man, I would like to respond but 1) I don't know what your are saying and 2) I don't know if it is directed at me. Can you translate this? I wasn't talking to you, and I probably was typing too fast anyway... Now, If you guys think that Tremain Thomas is a better basketball prospect than J'Covan Brown, then you are really kidding yourselves and your basketball IQ must improve....Listen, Tremain is such a great kid and I am sure that coaches would love to have him and all of that, but basketball ability, court presence, other basketball intangibles, J'Covan is in another league...literally..Yes he needs discipline, and all of those things that make players complete, but If you ask all 12 Big 12 coaches who they would rather take a chance on based on basketball talent alone, and I gurantee you J'Covan is the pick HANDS DOWN..You guys are letting how you feel about the kid affect your judgement of him. Thats not only unfair to J'Covan, but it is just plain...dumb. You guys KNOW how good J'Covan is....But really do not want to embrace it due to your personal feelings, so you say something ridiculous like TT is just as good basketball wise, and that is just....dumb..Get mad, but that is the simple truth. Church! Tabernacle!! Santuary!!! I agree totally!

Sislbee had HJ in their sites to defend their early season lose... But a Brawl will leave them short-handed against a very talented HJ team... Can the remaining players pull together for the upset? I think not as they rack up their second district lose to HJ running away. HJ by 15+...
